Beautiful and secluded

We loved our stay!!! Hot tub with view of the pond at sunset was amazing. We had so much fun playing ping pong and darts in your game room. Very peaceful, had everything we needed for our getaway.

Very nice and quiet. Quaint little farmhouse. 45 minutes away from Shawnee National Forest where there lots of hiking.

Relaxing Stay

We had a wonderful & relaxing stay. The house was clean, comfortable, & decorated nicely. It had everything we needed. We spent quite a bit of time here since it rained for most of our short trip. We enjoyed the hot tub. It was nice that it was located under the covered porch. We also had a great time playing ping pong & darts in the game room. The views were nice as well overlooking the pond & we saw lots of deer. The property owner was nice & accomodating. We would definitely stay again when in the area!

Birthday getaway

We came down for my birthday. The home is absolutely amazing! We enjoyed a fire by the pond as well as hot tub relaxation. Being out in the country with nature at night was amazing, there is an owl very close by! I can’t wait to book this place again! My boyfriend said it was amazing and very relaxing as well.

We were 5 minutes late leaving at 10:05 am. It was a little awkward that the owner was waiting, parked at the end of the driveway waiting on us to leave.

All the comforts of home without the distractions

We took our 10 and 12 year old girls for a short family getaway. They loved the farmhouse and playing in the big field, roasting marshmallows, and especially the game room. We drove to the Garden of the Gods one day about a 35min drive. It was a nice relaxing trip. The farmhouse had all the supplies we needed to cook meals. The closest store is 15-20 min away.

Relaxing Spring Break

I wanted a quick get-away for my young kids for their spring break. This was perfect for a quiet few days. Normally I would worry our family would not handle the lack of internet well, but they shocked me! The game room kept the kids occupied. My oldest loved fishing in the pond. We spent an entire day hiking at the nearby State Park. We had dinner as the sun set and made s'mores for dessert.

Peace and Quiet

The Farm House is a wonderful place to escape the hectic schedule of life and to unplug from the world. My husband and I truly enjoyed our time away relaxing, exploring and reconnecting. The game room was perfect for entertainment. The kitchen had all of the needed appliances to cook small meals. We enjoyed watching the deer, squirrel, birds, and turtles in their natural habitat. The Farm House is a wonderful place to get away from it all.

Great stay!

The property was very rural and private. It was spacious with tall ceilings and wide open rooms and all the essentials for preparing easy meals. It was very clean (9/10 and I’m SUPER picky). The bed was comfortable and the furnishings were new and clean. The couch was a bit uncomfortable for us but I realize that’s subjective. The hot tub was clean and had a wonderful view of nature. The first night it rained but we could still enjoy the hot tub as it’s under the awning so we sat and listened to the rain and soaked. We saw turkeys, deer, rabbits, and birds throughout our stay. We’ll definitely be back!!

Spectacular stay!

This cabin offered everything we could ask for and more. Incredibly clean inside, and stocked with basic needs you can expect (like towels, dishes, condiments, etc). The gameroom was enjoyed by all for hours on end. The hot tub was relaxing, hot, clean, and enjoyable. Beds were so cozy and welcoming after long excursions. The property was beautiful and expansive with lots of wild animal visitors, and even a sweet (neighbor?) dog. We loved sitting by the pond listening to the sounds of nature and the night skies were filled with millions of stars! The drive to many of our destinations were filled with bald eagles, snakes, deer, vultures, and all sorts of creatures we enjoyed spotting, making each trip even more fun, even when we were driving a lot. There is so much to see and do in the area that we wish we'd booked for longer!
