Il n'y a pas de meilleure façon de vraiment découvrir la gloire des Blue Ridge Mountains qu'en logeant dans cette élégante location de chalet au bord du lac. Creekside at High Rock est l'exemple parfait du meilleur des locations de vacances Blue Ridge Mountain. Creekside est une cabane très spéciale (située à 20 pieds du ruisseau) de 2 chambres pouvant accueillir jusqu'à 6 personnes. Vous pouvez dormir confortablement au son de l'eau qui coule dans le lit principal king size, deux lits doubles ou le lit queen. Les équipements comprennent: un bain à remous apaisant pour 4 personnes, 3 téléviseurs HD et un lecteur BLUE RAY, une cuisine spacieuse et entièrement équipée, une terrasse extérieure massive en bois dur qui comprend des chaises berçantes en cèdre. Un poêle à bois et des foyers extérieurs, du bois de chauffage gratuit est fourni. Les sentiers de randonnée et l'intimité de votre propre ruisseau ne sont qu'à quelques pas de la maison! Il s'agit d'une location de chalet de montagne qui emmène le luxe au sommet d'un nouveau sommet!

The cabin was outstanding. Very quiet and private but had all the amenities. Beautiful scenery and only around 15 minutes to Black Mountain. Would definitely recommend.

Everything about the cabin was great. The road to the cabin was painful to drive due to all the bumps and work vehicles blocking the road. We expected some of this due the recovery efforts from the storm -- and the landlord was up front it was being worked on.

Thank you! The road work is completed and is much better now since you were there ( over a month ago) and as a reminder, you are not driving in the city as you arrive to this little slice of heaven. You are in the mountains and the roads are safe mountain roads and is part of the lore of experiencing Creekside at Highrock!

A very idyllic setting with everything you could need for a fun mountain trip while still being close to town. My only actual feedback is that there are no blinds anywhere in the house except the bathrooms. The bedroom has them too but they’re sheer so you’re waking up with the sunrise. This is obviously great during the day, you can take in the view but at night it would be nice to not feel so on display. Also, there are communal amenities on the property (which is fine) but with no blinds you can run into situations like we did, where a family taking the trail had kids just run up to our cabin and start looking inside. Not a fault of really anyone but good to keep in mind if you’re wanting a more private stay.

Thanks for the feed back. To be transparent, the cabin is extremely PRIVATE ( and we are rather shocked by this and shocked and disappointed that it would warrant a 4 star review ) as we have been renting this cabin for over 15 years and have never had any complaints about not having blinds. As a reminder when you come to the mountains ( not going into the city ) for vacation and for this particular log cabin setting, blinds would ruin the appeal and natural setting of the interior of the home. 99.9% of our guests love the large open uncovered windows in the living room area for viewing during the day and night hours. We do have curtains in the bedroom and they do cut down on most of the sunlight.....We do have another vacation log cabin ( called Hideaway ) 400 feet down the creek from Creekside and that cabin happened to have two very small kids ( for that same weekend ) that got away from their parents for about 10 seconds ( according to the parents ). Trust me, we have never had this complaint before in15 years as again, the cabin is ULTRA PRIVATE. You cannot get anymore private than Creekside or Hideaway!

Perfect weekend getaway

We absolutely loved the Creekside cabin. If you are looking for a spot to listen to nature and just relax… this is the place. We will definitely be going back to this cabin!

Beautiful cabin near Blacl Mountain

We stayed in this cabin for a few Day during a trip to drop off a kid at summer camp. So relaxing and beautiful here, what a wonderful stream and great layout. Will definitely visit the site again.

Thank you. Yes, one of the big draws to this cabin is that it is privately secluded ( with a big creek only 20 feet from the home ), yet only 5 miles from downtown Black Mountain.

Perfect Mountain Retreat

This cabin was wonderful. We stay in VRBO rentals several times a year. This place was the BEST! The owner thought of everything. We loved that the cabin felt remote, but was close to town. The sounds of the creek were so relaxing. We definitely plan to return.

Relaxing and fun

Perfect cabin for our family with young kids! We loved the property hikes and playing in the creek! It was an easy drive to Asheville and lots of hiking. Would definitely recommend!

The property is in a great location - private but with shops, restaurants, and attractions minutes away. Loved having the creek nearby. Cabin was nice and clean. Highly recommend!
