In the pure country of Seminary lies a cozy two-bedroom cabin, providing a tranquil escape for your upcoming vacation. 21st Anniversary Trip

Laurel Festival

The cabin was a lovely, relaxing place to stay. We attended the Loblolly Festival in Laurel MS. The local restaurants Reds & Wards with friendly people and good food were a great addition.

Beautiful cabin and surroundings

What a beautiful cabin, in a lovely serene area. The fire pit area and hot tub were extremely nice and we also enjoyed sitting on the porch and watching the the birds on the lake. We had a very relaxing weekend and absolutely plan on coming back. We really appreciate the cleanliness of all the rooms and everything was in great working order. Thank you again for letting us share your amazing home for a few days!

Beautiful Retreat

We loved this home on the lake! From the giant blue heron sweeping across the lake to the bobcat strolling across the path to the woods, it was a wonderful place to unplug. The house is gorgeous and the high ceilings give the rooms a majestic feel. The bed was so comfortable and the comforter so cozy, you did not want to get out of bed….we loved this property and cannot wait until we can return….

Best cabin in 45 years of cabin rentals

This property is superb! So relaxing with everything you need! Close to Laurel and Hattiesburg so went to both and Hattiesburg Zoo. Ate great food but best food was cooked in cabin watching the nightly bird show. We sat on the back porch for morning coffee listening to the cows and watching deer all over the yard. The birds come to the lake behind the cabin nightly and put on such a show. We enjoyed the Kayaks in the lake too! We will definitely be back there soon!

A Hidden Gem, absolutely perfect!

My husband and I needed a weekend getaway that would be absolutely peaceful and relaxing… and that is exactly what we got! It’s absolutely beautiful here! The house was amazing from the dream kitchen to the extremely comfortable beds and don’t forget that hot tub, it was great! My husband loved the fishing and I loved the early morning sounds of nature while sitting out on the porch in the rocking chair! We were very lucky to have different animals visit (which we LOVED) beautiful birds flew in every evening, we saw deer, armadillo and a few others. It was such a perfect weekend and this place is an amazing hidden gem! So glad we found this, We will be back!

Secluded and Peaceful Getaway

This property is a great place to get away from everything and relax. Secluded, quiet, and plenty to do. The cabin is wonderful. Very clean and looks brand new. It was nice to have covered parking on the days it rained. The kitchen and living area are very spacious. The bed in the master bedroom was comfortable, and the bathroom was spa like. The outdoor area was the highlight of the trip. Comfortable patio furniture, a relaxing hot tub, fire pit, and grill. We enjoyed fishing from the dock, using the kayak, and watching the geese with their babies. We had a few little critters in the house, but the host was quick to respond. There could have been a few more little amenities, but you are minutes away from stores to pick up anything you need. One thing that would be nice to have added to the cabin is some curtains. At certain times in the day the light was a bit bright near the table. And even though you are secluded, curtains could make it feel more private and secure at night. I highly recommend this property to anyone looking to just relax and spend time in nature.

Relaxing Getaway

We were just looking for a quiet place to relax and unwind. We’re not big on eating out or spending a ton of money on activities in addition to a rental. This place was perfect! It was very nice and clean and it had everything we needed to enjoy easy, quick meals on site. Rental was fully stocked with pots, pans, grill, cooking/eating utensils, coffee maker, as well as linens, towels, and paper goods. The property was very secluded but relatively close to things you may need or want should you feel like venturing out. We made a grocery run in Hattiesburg on the way in and were set for the stay. The ponds kept us occupied during most days. The outdoor living areas were really nice and well thought out. The hiking trail to the river was a little overgrown in places further down the trail so we didn’t quite make it all the way to the river but it was still fun. The owners were very quick to resolve the one little minor critter matter we encountered while there and we had no further issues. The place was also pet friendly so that made our fur baby happy that she was able to come with us. Definitely recommend staying here if you just need to get away, recharge and reset!

The home is like new and very clean! The amenities are abundant (linens, kitchen, supplies). The grounds are wonderful. We stayed for a month and thoroughly enjoyed our time here.

We didn't have time to enjoy all the amenities but it was wonderful. Nestled in the woods away from the hustle and bustle of the city. Quiet, secluded and beautiful.The owners were great! Even checked to make sure we made it in ok. 10 out of 10.

We enjoyed the relaxing atmosphere and the property had lots to offer! Just fyi there is an alligator in pond but maintenance person said they were going to have it removed. Could be dangerous for kids or small animals.

This is our second vacation rental so far. Our other cabin is the River Front Cabin located just down the road. We have been hosting there since 2018 and we have had such a great time hosting everyone at that location that we wanted to share more of our beautiful property.

Pourquoi avoir choisi cet hébergement ?

This spot was chosen is because in 2021 we decided to finish rebuilding the lake my late father was working on before he past in 2015. This lake was first built by his father many, many years ago and at some point it ran dry. When the lake was finished we thought this would be a great location for our second vacation rental to share with everyone.
