Family Getaway

The condo and complex were awesome. We were a large family and the space worked out well. Short walk to step onto beach, the outdoor and indoor pool. Wish we could have stayed longer.

Third time is a charm!

Really enjoyed having the ice maker in the room. The bed were hard and uncomfortable but still would definitely stay in this unit again.

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was very clean. I was very happy with the location. I was more than satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We absolutely loved our stay. The views were amazing andnwe enjoyed sitting on the large balcony over looking the ocean every morning and night. There was enough room for everyone to have their own beds and own space. We will definitely be back.

Spring getaway!

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This was a last minute getaway while the kids were off school. What a great time we had! The condo was perfect. Plenty of room for 7 of us, ( 3 adults and 4 kids). Clean, modern, well furnished. The kitchen was beyond stocked with supplies. Perfect location too. Walmart and souvenir shops right across the street. The condo itself positioned perfectly on the beach! We will definitely be back!

The room was neat and clean. We plan to stay there again in the near future. The only thing we seen that could have been better was the ceiling fans in the bedroom didn’t put out much air. So it took a while to get comfortable to go to sleep. But overall we loved summer house.

Recent stay

We just left our rental. We noticed when we showed up on Friday that there was a dead cockroach in a closet of one room. Then once while I was cooking I noticed a live one on the cabinets in the kitchen. This morning my husband got up around 3:00 and said the cabinets and counter had several cockroaches. This place definitely needs to be treated. This is uncalled for when people spend quite a bit of money to relax and enjoy a vacation with family and friends.

Not what we hoped for.

I was very disappointed with this condo. Started with floors being super dirty. Then the king bed was so stiff you might as well have tried to sleep on the tile floor. My husband and I didn’t get a single good night sleep while there and woke up sore every morning. The reclining loveseat was broken. The kitchen utensils and pots/pans were dirty and appeared to be 20 years old or more. Tons of knives but not a single one sharp enough to cut anything. The washer was not balanced so we had to shimmy it with a piece of cardboard so it would work without sounding like it was destroying itself. Last but certainly not least we left early due to a large cockroach running across the kitchen floor. So we spent the whole night before leaving washing all of our stuff and spraying down our suitcases to make sure we didn’t bring anything home. If I would have paid more per night I would have demanded a refund.

German Roach infested and Nasty!

As soon as I walked in the door the first thing I saw was German roaches in the kitchen, on the floor and on the counters. We woke up daily to German roaches crawling on our food and items left on the kitchen counter. They were even coming out of the Keurig coffee pot! The bathrooms smelt like urine and the unit was dirty, smelly, mildew/mold on the bathroom ceilings furniture outside worn out, beds uncomfortable and the pillows terribly hard. This place needs an update and a new cleaning crew and certainly last and not least PEST CONTROL FLUSH throughout the units and possibly the building. If one unit is infested, the units around it more than likely are too. German roaches are hard to get rid of. I did not report it to Mgmt. because we were busy with planned activities and had no time to waste. I would not recommend staying here unless the above items are resolved.

Price versus Nice

If you are looking for price and not quality then this is the place for you. When entering the condo it looks like a low income family house. the beds in the house or broken and are not attached to the bed frames. The headboards are literally just up against the wall. The pull out bed was nasty and full of trash. The condo was not clean and needs major updating because it has all dark gloomy colors. Nothing bright and uplifting at all. The glass closet doors are a nuisance because none of them are on track and will not slide properly. the only good thing about this condo is the view of the beach. You will not sleep well because the beds are broke and the showers are clogged with hair and do not allow for the water to go down the drains. this property needs major renovation but again if you are looking strictly for cheap price and don’t care about cleanliness, remodeling or the fact that it looks like a Projects home this is the stop for you.

Location is great with basically everything close by. Beach access was the best. Room could’ve been cleaner but was very comfortable for a family of 10.

Get what you pay for

The location of this property is amazing- the kids lived in the pool. It was quiet and the grills were nice— though plan ahead as there was a line to use them. When we arrived, the pull out bed + one dining chair were broken and there were cockroaches in the kitchen. Regardless of these flaws, our time was lovely and it is probable that we would stay again.

The process was emailed even though a contract number was given if need ed to contact anyone.

Overall the experience was wonderful. Just a suggestion to add brochures of places in the area and a reminder that chairs and umbrellas are for rental on the beach.

It was very pleasant sitting on the balcony. I couldn’t get back in if I went out by myself because the door was hard to open & the bedroom door wouldn’t even open. Did see a couple of roaches in the kitchen. But watching the dolphins from the balcony was awesome

Review

The condo on the inside was very pretty. Location was great. Outside of condo was dirty and ragged. Door with code didn’t lock 1/2 the time and no way to lock from inside. We found roaches in the kitchen like a lot of them. Toilet broke (they came and repaired) patio door handle broke(was still broke when we left) pool was great and elevators were quick and efficient.

Roaches and poor housekeeping.

This condo is older and needs to be remodeled. I seriously doubt the floor tile has ever been really cleaned. It may be mopped, but with a dirty mop. Roaches were all over the kitchen. Management did send someone out, but we washed everything before using or used paper plates. Also, the closet sliders in one of the bedrooms were impossible to move. Otherwise, the location was great; the pool was ok; view was wonderful. But, the negatives outweigh the positives, and I wouldn't book this property again.

Terrible beds

The property was outdated with poor bedding. Also, the floors were filthy when we arrived. My feet were very dirty after walking around barefoot in condo for 10 minutes. I had to sweep and mop day 1. Condo in good location , however amenities were not all available due to repair from hurricane.
