Great Location and very clean.

This condo was very clean and we loved the area of Fort Walton. The communication with the property management was great and check in was easy. The only thing that needs improvement is the cookware. The non stick surface was flaking off on all pans and pots were burned on the bottom. New cookware is needed. It makes for such a better experience being able to cook with decent cookware. Great stay overall.

We liked the quick and easy access to both Fort Walton Boardwalk (walking distance along the beach) and Destin just a few minutes drive away! Weather while we were there was not great, but we enjoyed fishing on Okaloosa Pier even in the rain! We liked that Okaloosa Island is less crowded than Destin or Pensacola but still very close to all the great attractions. Our condo was bright and clean, although not as updated in decor or amenities/appliances as some of the other places we have stayed. Overall, we were very happy with our stay.

Amazing vacation rental !

We will stay here again for sure! All details offered were spot on. We had complementary beach chairs & umbrella daily for use so we didn’t have to drag ours around. There were plenty & we didn’t have to worry about having a spot. We could see fireworks at the pier from our balcony. A 8 min ride to Destin for tons of activities. Quite a few restaurants within walking distance as well as multiple gift shops , gas stations and a liquor store.

Cleanliness

Beautiful spot, condo was not real clean. We killed roaches in the kitchen and in the bedrooms. Tv in the guest bedroom did not work. Maintenance replaced cable box but it still didn’t work. Comforter on the king bed looked stained. Headboard was dirty. Bathtub had a black ring around it. I always bring my own cleaner/ disinfectant so I cleaned bathroom and wiped all surfaces.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We had a great time in our rental. The only problem I absolutely hated was that all the outlet plugs are loose! We only had a couple that we could actually use where the plug wouldn't fall out! Other than that, it was a great condo for our family and provided plenty of room and space to spread out for the week! The kids loved the bunk room. My parents stayed in the front room and did wish the bed was a queen instead of a full, but they made it work. I always make sure to stay somewhere with a washer and drier for long trips. Beautiful ocean views as well. Another thing that was annoying was that even in a multi-room condo like this, we were only able to use 2 chairs for the beach service... we had 4 adults and 2 kids staying. Figured we could at least get 4 chairs, but were told no. Overall, definitely recommend and will book again if we come back!

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Most everything about the unit was OK. We did have a few issues, but all were related to the cleanliness of the unit. It was not cleaned very well after the previous renters left. While we were doing our own cleaning of the kitchen counters, we spotted a roach crawl across the counter. A pest person came later in the week to inspect but he didn't feel the place was infested. We would have had to leave the unit for several hours for him to treat it so we opted not to. We ended up seeing a few more roaches during our stay. We were also missing kitchen towels when we arrived, but later found them dirty in the laundry room. Not sure why the cleaning crew left the dirty ones there and didn't provide clean ones. We also noticed a lot of pet hair throughout the unit. We were under the impression that pets were not to be allowed.

Reviewer Comments: We have rented from b and s over 9 times this time we walked in to a dusty dirty condo with 3 inch dust bunnies and 1/2 inch dust on ceiling fans .. stove burners were sticking up out of burner cavities ... sliding door was too difficult to open to balcony so first day everyone had to go out thru bedroom sliding door , toilets were horribly stained , black mold on outside furniture, rug was stained maintence did come quickly for the sliding door but the w D 40 fix didn’t last longer than 1 day , we love brooks and shorey not sure if decreased staff might be a cause for this but it was in one word disappointing.

Great condo for a big family

Condo was nice and clean, just the right size for bringing kids and the grandparents. Will definately consider renting this unit again in the future.

2021 Vacay

Beautiful area with really nice beaches. The location of the condominium is excellent for easy access to shopping, food and entertainment. The really disappointing part of our stay was the condition of our unit. This unit is in extreme need of updating, immediately. I’m almost certain the unit had bed bugs or some kind of biting bugs in it. The plumbing in the bathrooms is bad so we had to be very strategic in taking a shower and flushing at the same time. The doors leading out to the balcony were almost impossible to open and close, even my two adult sons had a hard time with them. I will not be able with a clear conscious to recommend this unit for vacationing. Very, very disappointed.

No better place to do safety in place.

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Always consistent. Always beautiful.
