Notre belle maison Lake a chaud, la chaleur rayonnante agréable tout au long. 7 chambres avec lits king size, toutes ont salle de bains privative. 32 pouces tv dans chaque chambre. Nous avons un bar avec table de billard, table de ping-pong, fooz balle, air hockey et piste de danse, spacieuse grande chambre avec vue sur le lac, une salle d'exercice, salle de théâtre. pièce à tout faire et cuisine de luxe. Lancement à 5 minutes en bateau. Volley-ball et un terrain de soccer, terrain de basket et un bain à remous. Nous sommes à seulement 20 minutes de ski de Park City et des attractions.

Great cabin in a great location!

We rented the cabin for a family reunion and everyone loved it! It was nice that every bedroom had a king bed and its own bathroom. The view of the lake was beautiful. There is fun for everyone at the cabin. And the lake was perfect.

Perfect for Family Reunions

We had a wonderful time at the Coalville Lakefront log home. The amenities were amazing. we had a family of 30 from 1 year old to 75 and everyone enjoyed themselves. We spent time on the lake and fun on the grass as well as kids riding their bikes on the driveway. The home theater was fun and the games downstairs were used constantly. We have told many friends and family about this beautiful home and will be spreading the word more. Our family traveled from all over the western United States to be together and they ALL said the pictures did not do it justice. its like staying in a 5 star hotel. Family Reunion

We stayed in the Echo Lake House for a family reunion. The house comfortably accommodated all of us. Depending on the day, there were between 25-35 people that visited, though all did not spend the night. The group sleeping room upstairs isn't super big, but there are two king size beds in there as well as plenty of cots and mattresses to be put down up there as well as moved to other areas. The bathrooms off of the bedrooms were very convenient, some with jetted tubs, and there are also some bathrooms in the community area. We loved the view from the kitchen/dining area, which is also the main area for gathering. There are several tables as well as a bar for eating. We were able to spend an afternoon playing on the water at the Echo Resort which was also fun. The Clark's have an access pass to the boat launch. There is a company at the resort with jet skis, kayaks, paddle boards, etc to rent. There are plenty of activities in and out of the house to keep kids and teenagers busy: air hockey, darts, ping pong, foosball, theater and exercise room, volleyball, basketball, etc. The 90 second dishwasher was great and saved us having to bring any paper products. The kitchen had everything that we needed. There weren't quite enough bath towels for everyone, but there are two washer and dryers there that we used. Jack and Judy were there when we arrived and were friendly and helpful. We had to contact Jack and Judy regarding an issue and they promptly came and took care of it. We have stayed in several big homes in a variety of locations for our family reunions, and this is the first house that we want to stay in again.

Had a great time...except for the ants!

We had a wonderful time! The home is gorgeous and well-equipped, loved that it's right by the lake. It was perfect for our large group of 25.

There were a few reasons we gave it 4 stars instead of 5, one of them being there were so many ants inside the house! Several people ended up sleeping on couches and floors in the loft because they had so many ants in their bed. Someone else had a spider in their bed. There were cans of Raid in the laundry room so we assume this has been an issue in the past. We mentioned to the owner that he needs to professionally spray, not sure if he will or not but the next renters should insist before they stay there.

Another reason for the 4 stars is because the cleaning lady wasn't done cleaning by 4:00 when it was our time to check in. We had to sit outside in the blazing heat while she finished. Most people had been on the road that day for 12 hours or more, and were ready to get inside. So we found it unprofessional that she wasn't done, especially since there weren't any renters before our group arrived.

Additionally, several people came and went during our week stay including the owner (who came and went several times), and a lawn mower. We had 15 kids around the house and would have liked notice that someone was coming. What if they were intruders? What if they weren't looking and accidentally hit our kids who were playing in the driveway? Though not a huge issue in the grand scheme of things, we felt it to be an invasion of our privacy and wish the owner would have said "FYI, someone will be mowing the lawn Tuesday at such and such time, please make sure the lawn is clear" so we knew to expect someone. And we wish the owner would have let us know when he was coming and going. Though it's his home, it felt slightly invasive that he was in and out so much and wish he would have let us know so we could have just been aware.

The last reason is that there is no cozy "hang out" spot on the main floor. No couches, just dining chairs and tables. It would be nice to have a cozy place to play games, watch TV, and talk, without having to go into the theater room or loft. Not a major issue but some feedback for the owner to consider.

All in all it was a fabulous home and despite the issues, we would likely stay there again.

Réponse du propriétaire: We apologize for the ants that may have been in the house. Sometimes summer brings out the spiders and ants. We do have the house sprayed on a regular basis but sometimes the bugs do show their little faces. We also would like any future guests to know that we store our boat in the garage as we do come up and go boating on the weekends. We try very hard not to disturb our guests. We apologize that us coming up to get our boat was invading your privacy. Thank you for letting us know. We will now put that into the email for future guests so they are not surprised by us showing up unannounced. We want all of our guests to feel relaxed and comfortable while they stay. Thank you making us aware of your concerns.
