Summary: Bring the whole family to this great place with lots of room for fun. This newly remodeled house is perfect for families or even friends and colleagues looking to enjoy the the Great Plains meet the rugged Badlands Theodore Roosevelt National Park nearby. You are only a 15 minute drive from scenic Medora and a 15 minute drive to Dickinson. Located in a quiet and peaceful neighborhood in Belfield! The driveway is a little sharp so it may be better to park on the road in front of the house. Enjoy!
Very clean house and well-supplied. Location is great for visiting both National Park units. Neighborhood is ok. Note for summer: bedrooms have no A/C circulation (unit cools main living area and kitchen; whole house does have heat). Bring a nightlight if you plan on using basement bedroom.
Everything was clean. The light above kitchen table did not work. I would recommend either a chair or luggage rack in bedrooms, garbages needed in bedrooms, and more towels for 7 people. Easy to find, nice location, very good communication, nice people to work with. Beds were comfortable!
Great location for us while we visited the National Park. Location was right off the interstate yet quiet and safe. The home was very nice, clean and well appointed. We were all pleased with our decision to stay here.
Perfect location for enjoying both TRNP locations. House was clean and had all basic cooking necessities. The air conditioner was in the living room, and would have been nice to have fans in bedrooms to help circulate the air. Overall we enjoyed our stay and would stay here again.
Property was as described. Very clean and comfortable. Short drive to Medora and the National Park. Home had everything we needed for our visit to the area. Kyle responded quickly to our messages.
Great stay right outside of Medora! House was really nicely remodeled and in a great spot about 20 minutes out of Medora. I stayed with my parents and aunt and it was a great place to spend time with family while visiting Medora. It ended up raining, so we spent more time at the house than we planned, but it ended up working out so well because the living room was cozy. We also brought my Golden Retriever, so it was a great dog-friendly option. Would stay again!
This property was conveniently located to Teddy Roosevelt National Park. It was in a quiet and safe neighborhood. The house was nicely furnished and comfortable. It wouldâve been nice to have fans in the bedrooms since the AC unit was in the main living area.
Quiet neighborhood and close to Theodore Roosevelt National Park. Beds were comfortable and we found most of what we needed. Nice to have this option instead of paying for two hotel rooms.
The house is perfect size for 6 adults. Can accommodate 2 others on the hide a bed sofa(kids). Close to Medora 12 minute drive. However the house could use a deep cleaning. The kitchen could use a few more supplies . The light over the kitchen table didnât work. Tried calling and emailing no response ??? The yard also could use some attention. Suggest labeling the light switches as it is an older house and the switches seem to be no where near the light I would give it a 3 star and would suggest others the donât have 5 star intentions to stay there
We enjoyed our stay at the Cozy Home. It is located conveniently to the Theodore Roosevelt Parks North & South Unit. The house is located in a quiet neighborhood. It was easy to locate off Hwy 85 % I-94. There is a Dollar General nearby for convenience. The house has 2 bedrooms upstairs that shares a bathroom. The basement has a bedroom and bathroom. The kitchen was nicely stocked with appliances and pots/pans. We made use of the washer & dryer which was great. We would definitely stay again when visiting the area. Cozy House for the win!
The renovations that have been done in the house were a nice touch. The kitchen and bathrooms were clean. It is obvious that itâs a pet friendly property because there were remnants of dog hair on carpet and around baseboards.
Comfortable beds, great location, amenities need improvement
Overall we really enjoyed our stay in Belfield. The beds were honestly some of the most comfortable mattresses Iâve had in a rental. The space was exactly as advertised. Whatâs missing are some basic amenities Iâve come to expect in a VRBO (some coffee and filters, dishwasher soap, hair dryer). I would definitely stay here again, but plan on bringing everything we need.
Great location for hiking in Theodore Roosevelt National Park
This property served as an acceptable place to stay for two couples wanting to spend time at the nearby national park. The kitchen had basic cookware and dishes for 4. We were glad we didnât need the third bedroom which is in the basement (as is second bathroom). Communication with host thru the VRBO app was good!
The property has potential, but at this time it offers the bare minimum. The listing says, "sleeps 8", yet the silverware is service for 4. Hooks in the bathrooms to hang your clothes on would be a nice improvement. The cobwebs around the front porch was not very welcoming. Simple, easy improvements would make this property a 5 star property.
This house is in a quiet neighborhood and is close to the local restaurant, gas, quick mart, and national park. The only thing that I would improve upon is the lack of chairs in the living room. We had 5 people and one couch wasn't quite enough for all to sit comfortably in the evening. Otherwise, we had a great visit.
It was a beautiful decorating. Itâs just missing things like chairs to sit on. Dishes. Itâs like we were the first people to stay there. Otherwise it was clean and nice.
House was clean and pretty well supplied. Driveway was kind of rough. Close to Medora - which is why we came. Beds were comfy. Some minor details could be dealt with - but overall we were happy with accommodations.
