We are 7 sisters aged 50-76. We had a wonderful stay at the Yellow Rose. This beautiful old home had rooms and beds for all of us. Would definitely stay here again
House was perfect for a family gathering with the large dining room table and large living room. Beds were very comfortable. Host was great to work with.
Great stay at the Yellow Rose. Perfect location for visiting our family and friends in Louisiana. Especially appreciated the host decorating the home for Christmas. Plenty of space for all.
wonderful stay in an amazing 100+ yr old home.
host was wonderful as well - made us feel welcome even before we set foot in the property.
it was an incredible and special experience.
recommended.
We were in the area overnight for a wedding. The home was lovely and very comfortable. Carrie was great and got right back with me and answered my questions.
Lovely older home that's being brought back. Kitchen has great retro features, while having new stove, dishwasher, refrigerator, etc. Like living in your own mansion for a weekend! Close enough to Hannibal and Mark Train Lake to bit more than once. Would love to stay there again; the owner's loving touches are evident everywhere. Very cool space!
Our family had the best time staying in the Yellow Rose! We loved the restored character and mansion feel. There's room for everyone, 2 pianos, lots of board games, a Wii, and a projector for movies.
The kitchen was fitted with modern appliances and the tankless water heater means we never ran out of hot water. Comfortable beds too. The game room upstairs was our favorite spot.
Carrie is always a pleasure to talk to and she did a great job communicating. Also her tips for places to go were spot-on. We really enjoyed driving to the top of the cemetery to see the river view and the gravestones from the 1800's. Gambino's makes surprisingly good pasta dishes with oldies playing in the background.
Can't wait to go back to the Yellow Rose!
