Spring Break with Family
We traveled in from VA to visit cousins that live nearby. It is newly developed, extremely family oriented, & near all the shops/restaurants you would need.
House:
- The layout of the house was perfect for our family to have space to unwind after long days. My kids loved the extra bonus room to be used as their "gaming" or play room. The backyard wasn't used as there's only a few chairs, but it's fenced and I could see plenty of potential to add a wonderful patio set or play area in the future.
- It was well stocked with initial essentials to get us started, such as toiletries, laundry detergents, kitchen supplies.
- The room décor was lovely, modern, clean and made you feel like home. The beds were firm but still very comfy with extra blankets if needed.
- Garage was great to be able to park in especially for avoiding those random southern rain showers (very rare for any homes I've rented on VRBO as normally that is off limits to the guest). They even had extras like bikes & all the essentials for a trip down to the beach.
Area:
- Restaurants galore! Biggest recommendation is Sonny's BBQ (could've eaten there every night) & for a sweet treat Wild Honey Frozen Yogurt.
- The neighborhood has a local park, but we loved Benny Russell Park. For rainy days there is a local movie theater or even the local bowling alley with arcades.
- Pensacola go to the Aviation Museum. Make sure you check the schedules online because this is where the Blue Angels practice & it's an awesome!
