My family and I needed a rental that could accommodate us all comfortably while in Charleston for an event, and this quant little home did just that. Very clean, inviting, with plenty of room to spread out. The owners were just a message away with any question or concern. Would definitely suggest this booking!
Great property, could use some more kitchen items like can opener that works, additional dishes, and skillets, but we had a wonderful stay. Property is very clean and beds are comfy. Laundry is a nice and wonderful touch.
We stayed on this property for five weeks for a winter break and a chance to visit sites in the Charleston area. When we arrived, we had trouble getting into the property, but the host quickly helped us resolve the issue. We experienced some issues with trash pickup, but other than that, the house was clean and met our needs during our stay. The house is near Goose Creek High School for reference to review the area.
We were at a dance competition in N Charleston. The house was a great place to sleep and plan our next day.Any issues were quickly taken care of ,they really wanted us to be comfortable.A good place for a big group with kids.
We had a wonderful girls trip. There were 4 of us and the house was the perfect size for our group. Easy to get to historical sites and I was able to bring my dog with me. We had great meals out and cooked in some nights. Beds were so comfortable that we asked for the name of the mattresses. Hope to go back and do some more sightseeing for one of our future girls trip! Thanks so much for letting us use your house. I highly recommend it to anyone visiting Charleston.
The property was clean and as described. It has plenty of room for a family or group to spread out. We made a few meals and it was well stocked for our needs. The beds are very comfortable and having the extra bathrooms was great. We did notice that none of the outlets by mirrors worked. My daughter and I had an issue trying to use curling irons to get ready, but we just moved to the foyer and used that mirror. The door handle fell off as we tried to enter the first time, but one message and it was fixed. We alerted the host about the outlets, but we didnât hear anything back on those. Thatâs not always a quick fix. We thoroughly enjoyed our visit and would stay here again when visiting our sailor. It was close to many restaurants and stores and fit our needs.
Disappointing Stay â Overpriced and Poorly Maintained
Our stay at this property was extremely disappointing and not worth the 300 per night price. The listing photos are misleadingâthe home is much older, worn, and in desperate need of maintenance and a deep clean.Cleanliness & Condition: Floors were filthy, walls scuffed, and furniture heavily worn. The kitchen was dirty, with debris in the fridge, cupboards, and silverware organizer. Hair was found in the beds and bathroom. Wet dishes were left in cabinets.Appliance & Utility Issues: The washer and dryer were unreliable, even damaging clothes. Bathroom outlets didnât work, the master sink drained slowly, and the only bathtub was missing a drain plug. The upstairs area was hot and musty, and there were no working clocks or basic household items like scissors.Outdoor Space & Location: The yard was unkempt, with debris and cigarette butts. The deck had a missing post, creating a safety hazard. Garbage bins were overflowing upon arrival and took days to be emptied. The location is far from downtown Charleston, with heavy traffic making the commute frustrating.Host Responsiveness & Pricing: The host was unaccommodating, offering only a minimal refund despite the property's condition. When we suggested a fairer rate, they withdrew their refund offer entirely.Final Recommendation: Avoid this rental and find a better-maintained property with a more responsive host. This stay was frustrating overpriced, and not worth the hassle. We wouldnât book with these hosts again.
We stayed here to celebrate My 50th Birthday. We had an amazing weekend. The house was exactly as picturedâspacious, very clean, and perfect for our group of 9 ladies. With plenty of space and bathrooms, everyone was comfortable and had room to relax. The location was centrally situated, making it easy to get to all our destinations quickly. Hosts Michael and Michelle were incredibly kind and responsive, answering all our questions promptly. If youâre traveling with a large group, this is the place to stay!
