We lived in this home for 10 years and recently moved into the house next door. We run a Preschool on the main floor during the week, but its empty on the weekends (Usually available pm on Thursday, through Sunday Afternoon). There are 3 bedrooms and 1 bathroom upstairs, which is the main living space. Kitchen, bathroom and a futon in the preschool. Great for kids, lots of toys and children's books available to use. Cat friendly inside and a 4 foot fenced back yard that can be used for dogs. The space The main floor is a Preschool. If you have kids they will love it. Also a fenced in backyard with a sand box and play equipment. Guest access You can access all of it. Other things to note No dogs in the house due to a family member who has allergies to dog dander, but there is a 4 foot fenced in back yard you are welcome to put your dog in.
Cats have lived in this house and are welcome as long as you provide a litter box.
Allergy warning! Because cats are in and out of the house some guests with cat allegies have been affected.
We enjoyed this rural, peaceful location and the clean, spacious place with its cute decorations. Linens and bedding were clean, beds comfortable, hosts very friendly and communicative. All appliances worked well and kitchen was adequate.for several meals. Great stay!
If you have young kids, this is the perfect place to stay! We stayed here with our three kids, and we all loved it. The house was clean, had plenty of space, and TONS of toys and activities for the kids. Not to mention, there were over 1000 children's books (not an exaggeration).
Trapper and Robyn were not only extremely accommodating, but they were just so pleasant, friendly, and very down to earth. We had a few requests while there on our two-day / two-night stay, and they made sure we were taken care of and happy.
Spring was a great time to stay here. The weather was perfect for exploring the surrounding area, and they allowed us to take a nature walk around their property and explore the pond farther back behind the fenced-in backyard. The kids loved seeing all the animals- plenty of cats and sheep!
The house itself is a bit in the middle of nowhere, but that made for an enjoyable in-the-country experience. It's an easy 20 minutes from Brigham City, 10 minutes from Crystal Hot Springs, and about an hour from the Spiral Jetty and Promontory Point.
We'll definitely be coming back!
I have 2 elementary age children. They beg to stay here. There are a lot of things to do in the area but they are happy just spending time at the school. When itâs not rented to guests this is a real preschool. We had access to countless books, games, kid size furniture and dishes, a small fenced play area in the back. The kitchen is stocked with any equipment you might need. Itâs great to have 2 bathrooms. The washer and dryer are nice features. There are cats that you can let in the school or keep outside. Itâs a farm area with green fields and beautiful background noise of crickets, frogs, goats and birds. The hosts were responsive to my messages. Check in was easy with a number keypad on the door. The rental rate is outstanding for unique setting, comfort and location this place offers. While staying here we have been to Lagoon Amusement park, Bear Lake, Crystal Hot Springs, nearby parks, hiking, biking, bird refuge, tons of fun small town restaurants. Read the whole listing! It mentions there are cats. If you are allergic or just donât like cats this wonât be a good fit. The cats will want your attention in or out of the house. My family loves cats and enjoyed them in the house our whole stay. I canât say enough good things about this location!
