This has been one of my favorite stays! Miss Mary is quite the hostess and everything was perfect! From bottled water left to be chilled for our arrival, to a variety of coffee flavors and creamers, to the binder full of local flavors, her hospitality was on point The bed was very comfortable with crisp clean sheets. The space was very clean and she was very accommodating for our 2 small fur pups.Miss Mary was very responsive. Would absolutely recommend her charming place for your stay. 15 out of 10 stars!!!
I have a lot of good to say about this place. It is VERY clean. The hosts are VERY generous with towels, water bottles, toilet paper, coffee, clothes hangers, blankets and refreshments for the parade, and even the air conditioning. That was actually too much for me; so I spent my time indoors with a hoodie and blanket. When I asked for it to be warmer, it was adjusted by the host; but there is no control in the unit to be adjusted as needed. The location is perfect. I walked from there to almost everywhere I went during my trip. It's small, so not the most comfortable for hanging out or watching TV; but they did offer use of a seating area out back. It was more expensive than some more spacious places I've booked nearby.
Everything was what we thought it would be. Only need a iron and ironing board. Also your windows are very long, I wish that you could pull blinds down from the top. This would allow the occupants to see outside and let light in without outside person seeing occupants from the street. This allows a little more versatility. Should have small table between windows in kitchen to allow charging of phone, computer or even a smart watch these is a plug there that makes this convenient. We were so lucky to find this place. So so happy.
The property was advertised. Everything was immaculately clean and fresh. The space is well-cared for and contains everything one needs for a comfortable stay.
As we arrived at night, it was not immediately clear where to park. The owner kindly directed me to the correct spot. Also, I do think that it is critical to completely clear ice and snow from the parking area. A small area was clear but not the entire path from the parking spot to entryway.
The owner lives in the large home on site. She was pleasant, kind, and welcoming. We did not require anything during our stay but I am confident that any needs would have been addressed. Thank you for a lovely stay.
A beautiful place to stay in quaint Peru, Indiana. Walkable to downtown shoppes. The space was spotless and has a very comfortable bed. Enjoyed our stay!
