The property was clean when we arrived, and overall it was a comfortable place to stay. However, the home is definitely more dated and not as updated as we expected based on the listing.During our stay, we also discovered a mouse inside the home. We were able to capture it and release it outside, but finding a mouse was certainly unexpected and made us a little uncomfortable during the rest of our stay.The property was clean, but between the dated condition and the mouse, I think it’s worth noting for future guests. With some updates and attention to pest prevention, this could be a much better experience.

1. If you like rodent cockroach scat in the kitchen cabinets, this is your place.2. If you like an open crawlspace with wires from the house dangling in the back, this is your place.3. If you like 4 days of floods in the basement interior of the house, this is your place.4. If you like inaccurate photos (driveway very uneven, hardwoods ground in dirt, sinks old and rusty) that were not included, this is your place.5. If you like months/years of leaves, beetles and cockroaches in kitchen window sill, this is your place.6. And there is more!We were informed from VRBO the place was uninhabitable and they helped us move out after about a week of a 3 week rental.

Prior to that, we had not received reports of these concerns. It is also worth noting that before check-in, there were multiple questions regarding our cancellation policy and the deadline for receiving a full refund. Once the concerns were reported, we took them seriously, coordinated inspections and repairs, communicated with you throughout the process and accommodated an early checkout. We also refunded full amount for the unused nights. We remain committed to addressing legitimate concerns promptly and providing a positive experience for our guests.

Great location. Comfortable rooms. My family gathered there over Christmas holiday and we enjoyed our stay. The layout of the home was good and had multiple areas for us to catch up with one another. The host was attentive and had great communication. Overall it was a good stay.

THEY REFUSE TO REUND US THE DAYS NOT OCCUPIED. MUSTY SMELL INDOORS. THE LISTING SAYS TWO BATH AND IT IS A BATH AND 1/2. PICTURES ARE NOT UPTODATE ON LISTING.

The reservation was made on behalf of a team and the concerns were reported by the booking guest rather than someone personally present at the property. We offered to have our property manager inspect the concerns while the team was still there but they left before the inspection could take place. We then inspected the property immediately afterward and took timestamped photos and shared with the booking guest. The inspection did not substantiate the presence of mold or mildew; the discoloration was normal wear and the vent buildup was moisture. We shared our findings and inspection photos with the booking guest and based our decision on the documented condition of the property.

The home worked out so well for us. The split level allowed one generation to sleep upstairs and another downstairs. The house was clean and conveniently located for our stay. When we called with a question, the host answered immediately and resolved the issue. We would consider staying here again.

Great location

Nice roomy house in a great location in south charlotte area. House is a little older, but was clean with nice amenities. Owner communication and responsiveness was fantastic throughout the process. We would stay here again on future visits.
