Beautiful open floor plan, with two queen sized beds, 1 bath and kitchen just a few steps away from the water. Bath linens, bedding, utensils and cookware are provided. There is a Keurig coffee maker and pods in the cabin. This cabin is complete with cable television, ceiling fans, WiFi, refrigerator, microwave, charcoal grill, picnic table, and firepit right on the lake! The front porch spans the width of the cabin front and is a great place to relax. There are pontoon boats and kayaks available for rent, a community pool and playground are also available for use in the park.
The cabin would have been perfect, but we did run into a few issues. It is not made known on VRBO that this is in a RV park. Now looking back the only way to really tell is to zoom in on the map. I guess we shouldâve done this on our part. The cabin is hot because it has no central air and only one window unit. It smells like cigarettes and wet dog. They do have a sign that says no smoking, but I assume nobody listens to that by the smell of it. The final straw for us was when we walked into the cabin all three of us, my husband, daughter, and I were covered in fleas. They were all over our feet, ankles, and legs. We decided it was best for us to get a hotel. We now have bites all over us. We did let the host know and they said they would investigate the issues. Not only did we have to pay for this cabin but also had to then pay for a hotel for the weekend and the best part is they charged us a 15.00 cancellation fee for something that was NOT our fault or problem.
