This cozy lakefront home is ideal for a quiet, relaxing getaway, a small family vacation, or a weekend with friends. The perfect place to enjoy a cup of coffee on the deck before heading out to the lake for the day or seeing several nearby attractions, including Mammoth Cave, the National Corvette Museum, Bourbon Trail, Nolin State Park, and more. Swimming, boating, fishing, paddle boarding, canoeing, and kayaking are perfect activities here.

This 2 bedroom, 2 bath fully renovated mobile home has all of the amenities of a home to help you enjoy a relaxing vacation. It sleeps up to 6 adults, with a pull-out sofa bed in the living room to provide extra sleeping space. You can enjoy amenities such as a fully equipped kitchen, washer and dryer, Wifi, and smart TV. The kitchen is well stocked with a with cookware, utensils, dishes, coffee maker, ice maker, and more.

This lake home is 5 miles from Nolin Lake State Park and beach and hiking trails, 10 min from Blue Holler mud and 4-wheeler trails, 30 min from Mammoth Cave, and 30 min from Beech Bend amusement park. The neighborhood has a community boat ramp about 1/2 mile away where you can launch and recover your boat easily and a couple of marinas on the lake.

This is the perfect place to enjoy a quiet getaway without the busyness of the city! In case you forget something, there are several local mini markets (Webb’s and Sailings) close by and a Dollar General Market about 10 minutes (5 miles) away. One of the local Amish stores has amazing donuts on Saturday mornings and a Walmart is just 30 minutes away in Leitchfield.

Please be advised the US Corps of Engineers own Nolin Lake and is used for flood control. Lake access is best during the summer as the Corps lowers the lake (25 to 30 feet) starting late October. Due to flood control aspects of the lake, the walk up and down to the water is steep, and some guests might find it difficult. Winter pool is 25-30 feet below summer pool. Which makes the lake inaccessible during winter months. During rainy seasons the lake has been known to go 25 ft above summer pool. Also making the lake hard to access. We try very hard to keep the access to the lake available but sometimes the levels change drastically and are hard to keep up. We do the best we can. The water levels can be checked at the Nolin River website.

Peaceful getaway

My best friend and I came for a weekend getaway. The property was perfect - secluded but a close drive to nearby caves, restaurants and coffee spots. Would definitely stay again

Perfect Easter Getaway

Myself and 5 friends stayed at this property for a few days during Easter weekend and it was perfect. The kitchen is well stocked and the fire pit was really nice. We were able to use the grill as well. Would definitely stay here again.

Great location to local attractions!

We had a great stay here while out sightseeing with our kids and dog! Lake is beautiful and our kids loved the yard. Would be awesome to use in the summer when lake is in full swing.

Long Weekend Stay

We had a lovely time at the property. We grilled steaks, roasted marshmallows in the fire pit, played cards on the back patio, and slept wonderfully! The property is as listed other than the house next door is much closer than appears in the photos. This wasnlt a problem for us tgough.

Lovely Home

This house was very cleanly/homey compared to other vrbos we've stayed in. The house was fully stocked with linens, ammenedies, and all the cooking utensils youd need. It was about 38 minutes from Mammoth Cave. The beds are okay more on the stiff side, but still semicomfortable. There is a propane grill (it was dirty from other users so we didnt get a chance to try it). The deck was very nice, you can tell the owners maintain the outdoor and indoor well. You can buy 5 firewood and rent kayaks from the owners as well. Thank you for the stay-Haley and Dom

My Christmas adventure

The place was comfortable, clean, and I had a good time . I traveled two hours and 30 minutes to the Ark encounter. The next day I traveled 35 minutes to Mammoth Cave and did a two hour tour and on my way back to Georgia. I stopped and Christmas shopped in Nashville. Thank you for my stay.

Birthday Getaway

Beautiful property. We booked the property for a family birthday getaway. The house was perfect size, clean, very well stocked and so inviting. Check in was very easy, the property owners are very helpful and respond quickly. Will definitely rent this home again.

Perfect little Lake house

The owners have thought of everything. Very clean and well stocked. Sitting out on the back deck with a view of the lake was awesome. A walk down the stairs to the dock was a leg work out but well worth it. We would definitely recommend a stay at this property.

Stayed here while visiting Mammoth Cave. Also drove to Bowling Green and Nashville. fine just stay right at the property and enjoy the peace and quiet. Not close to restaurants. Comfortable and well kept.

Perfect Relaxing Stay on Nolin Lake

The home was exactly as advertised. Right on the lake and very beautiful and quiet. It was so relaxing to drink morning coffee on the deck overlooking the lake watching the sunrise. Location is close to a multitude of great hiking opportunities. If you want to get away, this is the place!

I enjoyed swimming off their dock. The water was clear, cool and clean. My husband enjoyed fishing off the dock too. We saw deer walking by lots of birds singing. It’s a beautiful place to stay.

Mammoth Cave 2024

The property is fantastic. It is so cute and cozy. Being right on the lake was a bonus as we spent hours just sitting on the deck listening to the birds and relaxing. The kitchen is fully stocked with everything needed - it was just like being at home. The neighborhood is quiet and the few people we met were nice. We really appreciated the gates on the deck so we could let our dogs roam freely as we relaxed.

Nice, but not lakefront

Clean, spacious and well maintained double wide trailer home that is on a hillside near Nolin Lake. Roughly 7 flights of stairs to get to the lake (I think I counted 92 steps), and the kayaks (owners charge to rent) were located at the home instead of the dock. Same with the life vests and other assorted floatables.

Trailer by the lake

Comfortable trailer by the lake and 45 minutes to Mammouth Cave. The unit is very clean and comfortable. The area is beautiful. Hosts were very responsive. I do think it is quite pricey for the area and being a trailer.

We have been on Nolin Lake for over 20 years and have made countless memories with family and friends. Sharing our lake home with family and friends is one of our favorite things. Together we enjoy hosting all those who come through our doors. We hope you and your family and friends will make memories here, as some of our favorite memories are at the lake. We reside at the home next door, lovingly named The Camp by our children and now a grandchild. Throughout your stay, we will be available for questions, including recommendations if you wish.
