Tequesta is a town named after the Tequesta Indians, Tequesta arose along the Atlantic shore of southeast Florida with the settlement of the Ocean dune by a small group of luxury hotels and tourist court owners. Tequesta offers an array of attractions and activities from live music to shops, restaurants, fishing, boating, beaches, golfing, and more.

From May through October, part of Tequesta Dunes is the densest sea turtle nesting ground in the world. Visit some of these endangered reptiles at the Loggerhead Marinelife Center, in Juno Beach, a working sea turtle hospital and learning facility that also hosts turtle walks on the beach.

If you are looking to spend the day with breathtaking ocean views, swimming, or snorkeling, try a visit to Coral Cove Park. The most prominent feature of the beach is the natural limestone which is part of the Atlantic Coastal Ridge. These rocks, as well as the reefs, are inhabited by marine wildlife, including fish, sea turtles, eels, and marine worms. The beach also contains a large selection of shells for those interested in collecting. The park also contains covered picnic areas with tables, built-in grills, a playground, and showers for a fun day at the beach.

Golf Courses - Tequesta Country Club
The golf course was designed by the late Dick Wilson, who also designed many well-known and highly regarded golf courses in the State of Florida and throughout the United States. Tequesta Country Club is a private, member-owned golf club located in the Village of Tequesta, Florida. The Club and golf course are situated on a peninsula that is surrounded, on three sides, by the north fork and the northwest fork of the beautiful and historic Loxahatchee River. The grand opening of the Club featured an exhibition golf match played by Arnold Palmer, Dow Finsterwald, Truman Connell, and Jack Kurtz. Dow had been named as the original head golf professional of Tequesta Country Club while continuing to play on the PGA Tour.

Turtle Creek Club
The mission of the Turtle Creek Club is to provide superior golf experiences and social activities that foster friendship and camaraderie amongst our Members and their guests. Turtle Creek Club has become one of the premier golf destinations in South Florida, located in the Tequesta / Jupiter area. The golf course was originally designed by Gentleman Joe Lee in 1969. This golf course is appealing to the average golfer and still challenging to the highly skilled player. The golf course was redone in 2003 when there was a conversion to paspalum grass on the tees, fairways, rough, and tifeagle greens. It was Joe Lee’s vision at that time to remove excess undergrowth, palmetto bushes, and trees to open up the course and make it more playable.

Cancellation/Refund Policies: We always uphold our cancellation policies as we incur costs on our home regardless of if a guest shows up or not, which is why we have our cancellation policy as it is shown on the listing. When we travel we always opt for travel insurance. We suggest travel insurance from either the booking platform or externally so neither of us have to worry if anything disrupts your trip.

Early Check-In/Late Check-Out: We are happy to accommodate early arrivals and late departures when we can, however, we cannot grant them earlier than 24 hours in advance because they are based on availability, and if another guest is checking out or in that same day. Early Check-In/Late Check-Out are subject to additional fees.

External rental agreement will need to be signed after booking.
