Welcome to Black River Condo!

Beautiful townhouse style 2 bed, 1.5 bath in South Haven's northside Marina district. Indoor pool open Memorial to Labor Day! Fantastic location just a few blocks to the beaches and easy walk to downtown South Haven. This condo has an open floor plan featuring a vaulted ceiling, new carpet throughout and updated paint colors. Upper and lower decks extend the living space outside and a convenient gas fireplace in the living room creates a cozy space when the temps dip.

Downstairs you will find 2 bedrooms and a full bath. Each bedroom includes a Queen bed with an XL twin trundle, comfortably sleeping 3 per room. A pack-and-play and baby monitor are also available for a toddler/infant to safely sleep. Upstairs you will find an open living space with a large sectional and 6-person table (and a high-chair for little ones). Games and toys are available for family fun! The TV is set up with YouTube TV, and the ability to log into your favorite streaming apps. The kitchen is equipped with cookware, bakeware, dinnerware, utensils, glasses, coffee mugs, as well as a coffee machine, toaster, microwave, oven and dishwasher. An electric grill is available for use on the upper deck. A brand-new in-unit washer and dryer makes it convenient to do laundry throughout your stay!

5 backpack beach chairs, a beach umbrella, a baby beach tent, and a beach wagon are available for use, allowing for easy transport during the quick 7 minute walk to the beach.

The condo has 2 dedicated parking spots. Street parking is also available.

Great location

Property was very clean inside and had everything we needed. It was as described in the listing.A couple of minor points was that there was a ton of cobwebs around the front door and the lock as well as the balcony. Salt and pepper on hand would’ve been a nice bonus.Overall, I would recommend this place

Michigan vacation

Property manager very easy to work with, kind, prompt, helpful, property very clean, property was close to downtown. My only comment is, I feel like the property owners should have at least one television app that they pay for that you can use. . Tv has lots of apps but you better know your log in info or you aren’t watching anything. For some people that might be ok, but we had kids with us and occasionally watching tv was helpful. Otherwise I would recommend this property.

Great stay!

This was perfect for our family of four. Great location. Good supply of basic amenities. Comfortable beds. It’s a perfect set up for younger kids that don’t mind room sharing and the slide out bed gave them options. Kids loved the games and toys provided. Instructions for check in and check out were easy. I thought we’d use the pool more, but were too busy exploring the town and beaches instead.

Nice, convenient property but VRBO listing misleading

This is a beautiful well maintained condo which is convenient to the town and a short drive to the main beaches. However, the bedding in the unit was misrepresented. The VRBO listing states each of the 2 bedrooms has a queen and a twin bed. They actually each have a queen bed with a twin trundle. After communication, the rental company did point out that trundle beds are mentioned in the text description of the property. However, the bedding heading in the VRBO listing is not accurate. Back when I booked the unit I had searched VRBO for a unit with 3 or more beds and this unit was displayed. The actual bedding was awkward for our group (myself, my wife, my sister-in-law, and our adult daughter). Be aware that both beds are trundles.

Black River Condo

The property was very clean and well taken care of. Great location to walk to the beach and downtown South Haven. We enjoyed the spacevery much. Not to be too picky and didn't really effect my review. But I always sleep with a TV on and both bedrooms didnt have a TV. Not that big a deal, cause we were all exhausted by the end of the night. Thanks again Dan Marshall

Overall great place but some things you should know

Positives: The location is close to downtown and everything and it’s on a street that is quiet. The interior was clean and decorated with a cute beach theme. Beds were very comfortable and large couch allowed for the whole family to sit together. The unit had everything we needed and it all worked well. Negatives: The indoor pool was probably the worse we have ever seen- we travel often! It had potential but it’s almost like the place did not have the money to update and maintain it. It was not at all as pictured. My ten-year-old daughter was very disappointed because I did not allow her to swim. The hot tub was hot but without a turn on switch or temperature gage so I didn’t allow her to use any of it. The TV only has apps. We do have Netflix and Disney Plus but there was no way to login to basic cable to watch the news and other network shows we like such as HGTV and FOOD. We watched Xfinity on our little iPad in bed because that allowed us to login. There are no tvs in the bedrooms. Finally, for the cleaning fee, we should not be asked to dump all of the trash cans. Obviously, if over flowing we would- but not as a part of a checklist at checkout. Again, nice place and good location but the above could affect whether or not it would be a pick for your next trip.
