Make a meal in our fully equipped kitchen and cozy up to the backyard firepit and have some s'mores for dessert, or take the night off and choose from one of the many delicious restaurants nearby. Perfect vacation spot just 4 blocks from the sandy shores of Jacksonville Beach! (7 min walk or 2 min drive to beach access) Not far from Mayo Clinic and TPC Sawgrass.

Perfect Place

We had a great time. The location was perfect for us. Just a few miles from my brother. And close enough other family members came by to visit. The home is beautiful and has everything we were looking for.

Family trip

I booked the home for myself. I had my family come visit. My daughter and her husband and two small children can for five days. Then my son and his family came for Easter weekend. The place was the perfect size for their viisits. A quick walk to the beach was a bonus. Great location! So clean!

Great stay on Jax Beach

We stayed here for two nights for my daughter's graduation from UNF. It was the perfect place for us, gramma, and an aunt. Beds were comfortable, firm mattresses. A/C worked well. We had a little trouble getting two of the burners working on the grill, but after about 15 minutes, they just started working! Firepit area was wonderful and we enjoyed staying out there making stores and chatting. A block from the beach, walked there twice. Very clean, would definitely stay here again!

Enjoyable Stay

Owners are friendly and easy to reach. The house is perfectly described. Our stay was enjoyable. Plenty of space to spread out. Big back yard. Nice sized screen porch area as well. Beds are very comfortable. The daybed in study area is super comfortable as well.

Sunshine Daydream

What a great place. Perfect size for our family while we were in town for our daughter’s graduation from UNF. Location was terrific, close to the beach, just down the road from shops and restaurants, and just a short drive to campus and restaurants in downtown JAX. Will definitely stay here again for future visits. Looking forward to coming when it’s more beach weather season. The house is located in a quiet neighborhood just minutes from everything. Thank you so much for a great little getaway!!

Adorable blue cottage and easy walk to beach

Great communication with owner. Comfortable home, bedding & linens. Kitchen was well stocked. Lots of space inside and outside. Absolutely adorable all around. You can’t go wrong with this home!

Loved Our Stay!

The beach bungalow was clean and cute. The yard was well kept and we enjoyed the fire pit. We had everything we needed in the kitchen and there were nice touches with shampoo and body wash and laundry and kitchen soap. We appreciated having the beach chairs and wagon to use for our time at the beach. We had a bit of trouble with the lock on arrival and the host was responsive and helped us get into thhouse. We had a wonderful stay! th.

Beautiful home!

This is a well-equipped, beautifully decorated home that is a short walk from the beach, stores and restaurants. We loved the backyard firepit! The owner was responsive and helped to make our stay memorable. We would definitely rent here again when we return to Jacksonville Beach.

Great Property with Attentive Host

Small hiccup at the beginning was immediately remedied by the extremely friendly host! 5 minute walk to the beach and restaurants. Property is well maintained and spacious. Will definitely return if our travels bring us back to Jacksonville Beach!

Family time at Jax Beach

A beautiful property within walking distance from the Atlantic. This house was all that the site described, and more. We enjoyed the fully supplied kitchen, comfortable beds, washer/dryer and infant highchair and beach toys for our 1 yr. old granddaughter. We played corn hole, used the beach furniture and the firepit complete with supplied firewood. The hosts were accessible and our VRBO vacation was relaxing. We would stay in this property again if the opportunity arose.

Wonderful Home Close to Mayo Clinic

This cute little house was wonderful place to stay for a month while having treatment at Mayo Clinic. This home was close to grocery stores and restaurants. My teenage granddaughter was very impressed when she visited and told me it was "very aesthetically pleasing!" It was very clean and well stocked with everything I needed. I am so glad I found this home, as I was dreading having to stay in a hotel with no kitchen or laundry!

Comfortable, spacious and good location at this Teal cottage in North Jacksonville Beach

This was my 2nd time staying at this rental for many reasons: 3 nice sized bedrooms, 2 baths, full sized washer/dryer, carport, 2 1/2 block walk to beach, a 25-minute walk to the Atlantic Beach restaurant row, comfy beds, cute interior with screened porch and a bonus room off the main gathering room with a daybed - perfect spot for yoga! The owners are very responsive and while I was there for my 5-week stay they replaced both the dishwasher & washing machine in record time. The house could use a good power wash to remove sand & first settled onto ledges and in between the bricks. The freezer drawer can be tricky and doesn’t always close properly due to the ice melting under the ice tray and preventing a good seal. I lost frozen foods twice because of this. A couple pieces of the furniture are worn & soiled and in need of replacement but given the track record of the owners, I’m sure these issues will be addressed.Overall a great location and house with responsive management.

Spring Break in Jacksonville

This was the perfect getaway home for our family- 2 adults & 4 kids (9-15). Property host was very responsive and helpful, answering all our questions. The house was clean and had everything we could possibly need and space for everyone. We put the beach towels, wagon, chairs, boogie boards and beach toys to good use. It’s a short walk to the beach (5-7 min). After a day at the beach, we headed home for burgers on the grill. Then cornhole and s’mores over the fire pit, and games outside on the screened-in porch. It was our first trip to Jacksonville and we thoroughly enjoyed it. Took the ferry to Big Talbot Island. Jacksonville Zoo was fun. Lots of local shopping and restaurants. We ended our trip checking out night feeding time at The Catty Shack Ranch- an amazing experience!

This neighborhood is quiet but close to all the eateries and grocery stores and most importantly to the beautiful beach! My family lived in this area for a few years and it was amazing being able to walk for miles along the shores of the Atlantic Ocean.

Sunshine Daydream is a clutter-free, superbly clean home with a great backyard space for socializing. The firepit is a hit during the cooler months! The location is convenient to restaurants in Jacksonville Beach and Atlantic Beach, so it is the best of both worlds.
