Ashley's stay got off to a bit of a rough start for everyone. We actually didn't authorize an early check in as we had guests check out the morning of her arrival and it takes my cleaning team the full 5 hours to clean the house. When Ashley's group showed up early, it threw my housekeeping team off as they were finishing up cleaning and preparing the house for Ashley's stay. My housekeepers were upset because they said the guests came right into the house as they were trying to do the final mop and they were yelled at to move their car etc. etc. Definitely not the kind of start we hope for. I personally talked through things with Ashley on the phone so thought we were all good. Due to Ashley's early check in, my housekeepers were not able to do a double check of supplies so when we found out some TP was missing, we did supply them with more TP and paper towel the first morning of their stay. We generally stock 6 rolls of TP per bathroom (so 12 total) and 3 rolls of paper towel (2 in the kitchen, 1 at the outdoor bar) Regarding the pool and hot tub service - our amenities are very important to our guests and keeping them in optimal shape is a priority for us. We hire a professional pool company to service the pool on the same day every week and our guests are made aware of it. A member of our team services the hot tub twice a week (Mondays & Fridays) to ensure it is clean and ready for guests; again our guests are made aware of it in our listing and in check in instructions. These services are to ensure an optimal and safe experience for our guests. Check out time is at 10 am at our house; I still don't understand how VRBO was showing it differently as we have checked all of our settings. Unfortunately on Ashley's day of check out we had new guests coming so we couldn't accommodate a late check out or it would have affected the next groups stay. Also to speak to our TV's - they are smart ROKU TVs that we have set in guest mode so that guests will automatically be logged out of their streaming accounts after they check out. The default log out time for guest mode is 11 am so an hour after a guest has checked out; the time displayed on the TV has nothing to do with our check out time. ... .it's just the default. We are sorry this was confusing for Ashley's group. We do appreciate the heads up about our beach chairs and the bug that was found in the kitchen. We will inspect our beach chairs and we do have our house sprayed every quarter to help manage the Florida bugs. Lastly, we love to host guests and really strive for a five star stay for each one. When that isn't achieved for whatever reasons, we re-evaluate what we can improve on and take the necessary steps. We also encourage guests to reach out if they have questions or concerns during their stay so that we can address them in real time.
