Worst Experience I've Ever Had
First, let me say I have never left a negative review. Got there at 4, the check-in time. They take my card and then tell me that they will call when the room is ready. The lobby was packed with people waiting for rooms. Adults and kids laying all over the lobby floor. I completely understood being short staffed. But... after 2 hours and still no rooms available, we asked about just canceling the reservation. We were about to be late to the Braves game. The lobby was still packed and they said it could be much later before we get a room. Maybe it was because we had a last minute booking? Nope. Booked months ago. Now... this was the issue. Multiple people asked about cancelations and we were all told no. They said the time for cancelations had passed... but there were still no rooms avaliable. I had to get Vrbo involved. They couldn't get the management to give us a refund either. After a couple more hours back and forth, Vrbo agreed to issue the refund because of their guarantee. From what we were told by the few people that had gotten rooms by the time we left... the homeless shelter would have been a better and cleaner option.
