Want that big-city apartment feel in one of Ohio's best small towns? Visit Suite on Jackson in Millersburg. Best known for being the heart of Ohio's Amish Country, Millersburg, the county seat of Holmes County, OH has the world's largest Amish settlement. Millersburg offers quaint boutique and antique stores, a variety of restaurants, including a local microbrewery, hiking/ biking trails, and the downtown is considered historic which means lots of charm!

Built at the turn of the century, Suite on Jackson is an entirely renovated, 1200 sq. ft., 2 BR / 1 BA space with high-end, modern finishes. The apartment features a beautiful, stained pine staircase with which you will enter the 2nd floor apartment. Additional features are exposed brick walls that were uncovered from their 120-year plaster cast to soaring 12' ceilings and 7' windows where you can peer onto the downtown streets, below.

Other features are: NEW! We added beautiful drapery to the front windows. They are heavy, luxurious, and offer black-out and noise dampening qualities. It really cozy's up a large room!

A spacious kitchen with a full appliance package. We also offer pots/ pans/ dishes/ utensils for your convenience. Make some breakfast, brew some coffee and get your day started. You will also find basic cooking spices / oils, additional baking pans, and cream / sugar on our coffee bar.

You'll find a luxurious bathroom with a tiled, walk-in shower, and a free-standing soaking tub to end your busy day of sight-seeing with some relaxation. We offer hotel-quality towels and bath robes for that extra touch!

A large living space, complete with a desk/ workspace, plenty of comfortable seating, FREE Wi-Fi, and a 65" Roku tv for streaming your favorite movies/ shows. We took care to add noise controlling insulation and all new windows. Although we are right on Mainstreet, you will notice it's still quiet and relaxing! Please note: You will still be able to hear muffled traffic noise from the front room.

Two cozy bedrooms with queen beds and hotel-quality linens.

We have an outdoor seating area located on the back deck. Please find cushions in the storage box (on deck).

Located conveniently within walking distance of biking / walking trails, antique stores, retail shops (including a boutique right downstairs), restaurants, bars, and a local craft brewery. You are just a short drive to everything Amish Country, including some farm and exotic animal petting, more shopping, restaurants, cheese, candy, bakeries and plenty of area Wineries and Vineyards.

Great place…great location

We really enjoyed our stay! Great location. Everything was just as described and looked just like the photos. We had everything we needed. The street noise referenced in the listing was not an issue at all. Great communication before/during/after our stay!

We loved our stay!

My husband and I were looking for a relaxing weekend away and found this gem! We’ve stayed in Amish country before, in the country, or in a house in town, but this could be my favorite option. Our goal is to relax and eat at some nice restaurants, so we usually stick around our rental. First, the place is very clean, cozy and beautifully decorated. The building is cool and so is the bathroom! Seriously, a beautiful bathroom. We loved being able to walk to the coffee shop in the morning and to walk to a couple different restaurants for lunch/dinner. There is even an ice cream shop within walking distance. We really enjoyed each restaurant we visited which is a major plus! This is exactly what we were looking for and would stay again. Just a couple notes that were not a problem for us, but could be for other guests. 1. if you have issues with stairs, just be aware that there is a 20 step staircase when you enter. There may be some walking required to and from your car when you are loading/unloading. 2. We’re glad we brought our small suv so that we could easily park in the space given. It could be a tight fit for larger vehicles, but there are other free parking options. 3. There will be some road noise because it’s located on a main thoroughfare through town. This did not bother us, but I could see some being sensitive to it. Perfect, relaxing experience, walking distance to eateries & shops in a lovely little downtown & short drive to other Amish country sights!

Perfect!

Perfect for a girls weekend! My girlfriends and I spent the weekend here. We are 4 friends, young 40s, looking a place to relax. This place was perfect! The accommodations were very comfortable, modern, great location, and very clean. You can tell the owners take great pride in their rental. The decor, finishes, furniture were all beautiful and comfy. We loved exploring the small town and eating at 3 of the nearby restaurants. We also ventured into Amish country for some fun shopping and lunch. I would highly recommend Suite on Jackson and would love to stay here again.

About US: Founded in 2022 and based in Ohio, Cross-Key Vacation Rentals is owned and operated by Kelly and Chad Croskey. Because we self-manage the properties, this means you have direct communication with us, the owners. It also means, we keep a close eye on the property to insure it is in good working order and ready for you to enjoy. We will be adding more properties in hopes of connecting more travelers to new cities and small towns.
Our story: Meet Kelly and Chad Croskey.
Kelly is originally from NE OH and has been a 25- year resident of Columbus, OH.
Chad is from Holmes County, Ohio born and raised.
Married for 7 years; we originally met in High School, circa 1990 (when hair was big and Guess® jeans were in!) We were friends and can confidently say we had a “crush” on each other. Unfortunately, time flies and before you know it, High School was over.
Move ahead 23 years and our friendship was rekindled. We dated for 6 months and knew we were the perfect match. Less than one year after rekindling our friendship, we became best friends forever and were married on June 4, 2016.
Well, we had a conundrum to solve. Where do we live? I was in Columbus and needed to be there for my job. Chad was almost 2 hours away and was hoping to keep his job. We found we really enjoyed the juxtaposition of living a city life and a country life. So, we decided to keep both houses. Luckily, I promoted with my company, and other than work-related travel, I am able to work remote.
Meanwhile, back in 2008, Chad made an investment in a multi-use (commercial / residential) building in historic, downtown Millersburg, OH.
In 2022, we made some big moves! This begins our journey in the short-term rental space.

We continually strive to add new and special touches. We just added beautiful drapery to create a cozier/ quieter space when in the front room. Added, bath robes to pamper yourself while you stay. We added more books and added board games.
Suite on Jackson is a downtown 2nd floor walk-up in a turn-of-the-century building.
Convenient to all of Historic, Downtown Millersburg, OH and Ohio's Amish Country.
