This two bedroom bungalow is in a convenient location to Sylva restaurants and shopping, newly renovated interior comfortable, peaceful and sprinkled with authentic Tibetan furnishings. Great proximity to Dillsboro, Cullowhee, Cherokee and GSMNP
Great for a weekend visit to WCU! My family of four enjoyed staying at this house to visit WCU. We went out to eat one night in Sylva and cooked the other night. The pans were still in good shape, which is rare at a rental, there could have been more cooking utensils but otherwise it was enough to cook an easy stir fry.
Great little place close to WCU, Sylva and all the mountains have to offer. This was a great place to stay at while my daughter attended a camp at WCU. Everything was great and Jamyang the owner was super responsive.
Over my stay I found myself thinking âI would just love to live here!â I have stayed in Sylva before and Jamyangâs place provided me exactly the living experience I wanted. The property is large enough to hold a few people comfortably for over a week, with a table, stove, fridge, shower, TV, and two beds. At the same time, I found it was small enough to leave ample outdoor space featuring a stunning newly constructed deck wrapping around half of the building, leading to a yard with a fire pit and chairs. Additionally, Jamyang is very communicative and deeply cares about making peopleâs experiences wonderful.
This property fulfilled are stay, however the amenities could have been improved by having a bureau or two, a written description of navigating the Google TV, and a written description of using the remote thermostat for the heater/AC. Consider upgrading the sheets on the beds they're quite thin, a little better quality here would be nice.
Maybe a written description of emergency numbers of the local police, fire.
Donât sleep on this one!! If you are OCD about cleanliness, this house is for you. The extra touches meant a lot to me. The sweetest welcome card, coffee pods, sweets and so much more! Thanks Jimmy for an awesome relaxing stay!!
I had an incredible experience at Whisper of Himalaya, clean to perfection and convenient location.
The combination of stunning mountain scenery, a charming cottage with Zen-inspired decor, and the warmth of nearby friends made for a truly memorable stay.
My host, Jamyang, was attentive and made me feel secure throughout my time there. It was the perfect getaway to recharge and connect with nature.
I'm had a wonderful time and am already looking forward to my next visit!
Thank you, Jamyang.
We loved our stay at Whisper Of Himalaya -- my daughter and I stayed for her to tour WCU. We were only a few minutes away from campus. The house was clean, quiet, comfortable, and we enjoyed the decor. We each had our own room and slept great both nights. The linens were soft and we appreciated the toiletries and well stocked kitchen. The house was close to everything we needed -- WCU, Sylva, Dillsboro. We visited Asheville on our way home. The front of the house has a suburban view and the back has a peaceful view of woods. Jamyang kept in touch, making sure all of our needs were met. The cottage was perfect for our stay!!
