ABOUT THE SPACE Don’t miss the chance to spend your Lake Wallenpaupack vacation at this cute-as-can-be waterfront cabin. This cozy cottage comfortably sleeps up to 8 guests and offers ample parking for up to 4 vehicles plus a boat trailer, making it easy to bring along all your lake toys.
THE SPACE From the moment you step inside, you’ll feel right at home with cozy furnishings and charming cabin décor designed for relaxation.
The main level features two inviting bedrooms—one with a queen bed and the other with a double bed—along with a newly renovated full bathroom conveniently located between them. Also on this level is a brand-new bathroom featuring a soaking tub overlooking the lake and a separate shower, perfect for unwinding after a day on the water.
Upstairs, you’ll find a loft area with two twin beds, plus an additional lakeside-facing bedroom with a queen bed (private with door). A washer and dryer are also located on the second floor for your convenience.
The modern kitchen, tucked just behind the dining area, offers plenty of counter space for preparing meals. The large dining table seats eight, making it ideal for family dinners, game nights, or gathering with friends.
OUTDOOR LIVING Step outside to enjoy the best of lake life. The screened porch comfortably seats eight and is perfect for bug-free lounging in the spring and summer. Just beyond, the spacious deck features a propane Weber BBQ and additional seating, all with beautiful lake views.
Down by the water, gather around the lakeside firepit surrounded by Adirondack chairs—ideal for roasting marshmallows and sharing stories under the stars.
LAKE ACCESS & AMENITIES New for 2025, the property features a large U-shaped dock, ready to accommodate your boat or a rental. While the owner’s boat is docked, there’s plenty of room on either side for additional boats or jet skis. Guests also enjoy access to two stand-up paddleboards and two kayaks for exploring the lake.
A newly improved pathway leads you to the water, complete with a midway seating area and a lakeside patio—making the walk to the lake easier, more scenic, and enjoyable.
GUEST ACCESS Access to the property is contactless by lock box. Our Digital Welcome Guide is a complete guide to your arrival, stay and departure for your rental home. The Welcome Guide is sent when the required forms and information is received. Guests have access to the whole house. Locked closets/areas are as follows:
OTHER THINGS TO NOTE - BOOKING REQUIREMENTS 75% of guests need to be 30 or older with an exception for children traveling with their parents. The remaining 25%, will need to be 25 and over. This home is for families and respectful guests, it is not a party property. All bookings are required to sign a short-term lease after the booking has been accepted to satisfy community requirements.
WHO WE ARE This property is managed by a local real estate agent. Property Owners rely on our team to book and manage their home for you and to make sure your rental needs are met. To make sure each property is well maintained, each reservation will require a rental agreement to be signed. The Rental Agreement is posted on this site and is available for review at check out. In addition to the Rental Agreement posted on VRBO, you will receive a Reservation Form that is required to be completed within 48 hours of receipt. Our communities are also governed by township Rental Ordinances which impose certain rules and regulations for owners.
WHAT YOU CAN EXPECT Our rental management includes 24-hour emergency response for any issues that arise.
Parking is available for up to 4 cars plus boat trailer
Day Guests are limited to 4 extra people over the 8 overnight guests allotted for the rental.
LAKE INFO Swimming and/or Floating is encouraged. Lake levels are high enough during the season for swimming and boating. Rocky Shoreline access – lake level fluctuates depending on the season.
Spring – Lake levels will be high. The docks do not start getting installed until late April. We do not GUARANTEE any dock in the water before Memorial Day. Summer – High Water Mark is June 1st. Depending on the weather, the lake levels may come up higher than that making the docks hard to access as their walkways will be underwater. We do our best to make sure they are accessible, but we cannot always get to them on demand. Fall – Water levels will be lowest, and docks will start to be removed from the lake until the spring. Boats can still be docked, water levels at the end of the docks are still acceptable for boat docking. Winter – Lake usually freezes, and ice fishing is popular. Any access to the frozen lake is “at your own risk”.
HOUSE RULES No Smoking inside – smoking outside only. Must not leave any butts and ashes behind NO FIREWORKS or discharging of any firearm is not permitted. Includes BB, air, pellet, paint guns. Quiet time 11pm – 8am – this is a family-oriented neighborhood, no late-night parties allowed. Voices carry at night when it’s quiet. If you are out late at the firepit or on the deck, please keep noise to a minimum.

Exactly what you think of when you picture a cabin at the lake. Great views and direct lake access! Plenty of different spaces outside to enjoy. We comfortably slept 4 adults and 4 kids. The new steps are very nice but there are a lot of them. It would also help to have some outdoor lighting on the screened in porch, deck, and stairs. We’d definitely stay again!

Beautiful
The property was absolutely beautiful with nice fixtures and upgrades. However, a few minor additions would have made it perfect. Curtains in the bathrooms and hooks for the hand towels would have been nice. Overall, we would stay here again.

Peaceful Family Outing
We had a great time. The house and property were nice and as advertised. The stairs to the lake were a bit longer than we expected but it was nice to have a private dock to swim, fish and boat off. One minor note on GPS directions, it should be 52 Glen Road, Paupack.

Great weekend on Lake Wallenpaupack
We really enjoyed our stay at the cottage. There was plenty of space for two families including adults and young kids. The house was clean, cozy, and stocked with everything we might need. There's a great view of the lake from the back deck and screened in patio. Having access to the lake and dock was great for swimming and boating and we appreciated being able to use the kayaks and paddle boards available on the property. The property manager was very quick to respond to any questions and was incredibly helpful. We would love to stay again!

Great Family Trip
The house was exactly what we expected and needed. We were a family of 6. There was ample space. The house was clean with all the necessary supplies. The steps down to the lake provided a good work out, not a problem if you plan you trip down to dock with a bag of supplies to limit trips up and down. We enjoyed the use of the kayaks and paddle boards.

Lake stay
We enjoyed the house and the veiws, the house was great and the decorations were unique. Everything was just as listed. The owner had his boat in the slip so we expected more dock space but made it work. Waves will get quite rough on a busy day. The stairs were unevenly spaced which made it a little scary to get to the water but we never had an issue. The grill was amazing to have and worked great. Very nice to have our own little spot and plenty of parking. Would stay again.

Can’t wait to go back!!!
Our stay at Glen Road Cottage was absolutely unforgettable! The view was nothing short of spectacular, offering a peaceful and serene backdrop for our getaway. My family and friends had an incredible time creating amazing memories together.
One of the highlights of our trip was the fun we had getting our endurance up by going up and down the stairs to the lake. We even turned it into a friendly competition, adding an extra layer of excitement to our stay.
The description of Glen Road Cottage was spot-on, and the reality exceeded our expectations. Glen Road Cottage owes us nothing; we had an amazing time and are already looking forward to our next stay!

Paupack Glen getaway
The interior of this house had everything our family needed. The grounds could use some work - unassembled log racks, crushed garbage can, old pier sitting in pieces in front yard. A little effort to clean up would go a long way. Many stairs to the lake shouldn’t be discounted. It was a haul. Not for faint of heart!

Very clean. Good beds. Waterfront is wonderful. Quiet during the week. Don't know about the weekend. Everything as described.2 cautions: the steps to the dock are long but made of stone and very solid. No handrail. The upstairs is really one room. You have to pass through the room with twin beds to get to the queen. The stairs up are quite steep.There is no dishwasher and we had to wash most of the dishes and pots before use. Not the owner's fault that people don't know how to wash dishes by hand.

Beautiful lake,but dangerous property
Property cleanlyness not kept up with,high grass in yard,wobbly/dangerous steps and walkway,window screens were flithy,all thou qe had a great time,I think you the cost the priperty shoukd be kept up with better than it is,thank goidness we are middle aged people with teen/adult children if not the 120+ steps to the lake dick wouldve been impossible.

Would not recommend
Steps to front door and especially down to lake are not for the faint of heart. Not well lit so didn't go down to fire pit. This is a property manager not a homeowner so fees charged were outrageous. Also building house next door so construction noises at 8 am daily. Should have accounted for this inconvenience in price. We have stayed at other houses in community but would not recommend this one. False advertising for sure.
