One of the best things about our property is that we have two boat lifts on the canal, which are available to renters upon request. So if you're planning on bringing your boat, be sure to inquire about this feature.
Overall, our Hook Oar House getaway is the perfect choice for anyone looking for a comfortable, well-appointed vacation rental. We can't wait to host you!
I must say this location was awesome. The rental itself is a very small one room, with a closet and a bathroom. When you walk in, the queen? Full? Small bed is immediately on your right, and it fills up that side of the room, with a closet at the foot of the bed. The refrigerator is immediately on the left when you walk in, with the range top/ floor cabinet (no oven) next to it in the corner of the room. There is a small kitchen sink and a counter installed along the wall on the left . There are enough settings for 4 people, and minimal serving bowls/ cooking pot and pans. The bathroom can barely fit one person, though the shower is spacious enough and had good pressure. There are 4? towels/ hand/ wash towels. There is a big covered cement patio outside the door, and if you look to your right, you are ON the water, on the end of a little finger of land surrounded by other little fingers of land and then, open ocean. There is a HUGE boat lift there, just like all your neighbors. I fell into the water when we got there the first night because I didn't know it was there and I walked right off the deck! So beware. Lol.There are lots of fish and fun beachy things to do , but NO BEACHES. In that area it's all bayou like land unless it's been altered by the home owners. We had an awesome time there mainly because no one was staying in the full house upstairs from our ground level room attached to the laundry room so we had this entire property to ourselves,ly on your next
After moving to Florida in 2021, I decided to get my real estate license and manage my families rental properties . Being able to be local for our guests has been a lot of fun and what makes living this vacation style life enjoyable .
