Reconnect and recharge at Beech Mountain Escape - located atop North Carolina's most beautiful and fun-filled peak. Our quaint mountain town boasts activities for all -from the thrill seekers to the chill seekers. Our home is ideally located within walking distance of Beech Mountain Ski Resort, free sledding hill, restaurants, the local pub, hiking/biking trails, mini golf and the quintessential General Store. Additional winter activities are a short drive away at Sugar Mountain and HawksNest. Perfect for couples or families, the condo features cozy decor, modern amenities and a balcony with breathtaking views.

Beech Mountain Escape's new owners have lovingly chosen new linens and decor to make the home welcoming and comfortable. Upon arrival, you will find a clutter-free and very clean home. An open plan layout allows your group to enjoy being together, but with plenty of space for everyone.

We are located in the quaint town of Beech Mountain. This charming, small town has restaurants, pubs, hiking, mountain biking, outdoor concerts and winter skiing and sledding. Our unique location puts us within walking distance of these activities. A short drive away are wineries, white water rafting, Blowing Rock and the Blue Ridge Parkway. It is important to note that due to the cool temperatures and mountain breeze, our property is not equipped with Air Conditioning.

Great location up on Beach mountain. Close to everything. Nice view. Loved the back porch where we spent most of our time. Master bedroom was roomy and great to wake up looking at the mountains.

Great experience!

We loved our visit to Beech Mountain. We come here a couple times a year and will be staying here again. We felt very at home. The place was clean, nicely decorated and beds were comfy! We also loved the location. Highly recommend!

Great Beech Mtn Spot

We escaped for Labor Day weekend as a family. This property was great, awesome location near beech mountain, the owner has updated the property very well and it has everything you need. The owners are great and were very easy to work with. I highly recommend.

Wedding on Beech Mountain

It was touch and go for a minute but everyone pulled together and made it happen. Our place was in the perfect spot, cozy, clean, perfectly decorated and had everything we needed. I loved the quick push of a button for a cozy fire and a view that went for miles.

Perfect spot

The pictures are very accurate. We were so happy as soon as we walked in the front door. It is very clean, and stocked with pretty much everything. We immediately turned on the fireplace which made it very cozy inside. You are able to walk to several restaurants. Only 1.4 miles from beech mountain resort for skiing. It snowed our last day which was so pretty. I recommend a 4WD vehicle for this mountain town. The host responded very quickly to any questions. We would definitely stay there again!

Dont hesitate

Wonderful 2nd floor condo with long-range views. We booked last minute and received a quick response assuring us that we would be able to stay. Just like the pictures show, spacious, clean & well equipped. Located right next to everything you'd need winter or summer. Dont heaitate to book this home, you won't regret it.

Beech Mountain Stay

The property establish a terrific 5 day stay. It was well furnished, welcoming, and very clean.We were able to sit on the balcony and watch various types off hummingbirds play and families of deer to visit. All the neighbors were very pleasant to speak with. Restaurants, general store, and walking trails were very close. I would love to stay at this same property again. I’d like to thank the owners very much for sharing their home.

A lovely condo with thoughtful touches

This condo was close to everything and all renovated and updated. The beds were both so comfy that we all slept great! What I loved were the thoughtful touches that make your stay so much easier — think dishwasher and detergent pods, lil extras like bathroom amenities, as well as seasonings and cooking spray so you don’t have to go buy everything for a short stay. Very thoughtful. But also the condo is decorated beautifully and close to everything. No notes for owners… it was a fabulous stay! Thank you.

Great base for the weekend

Great property at an ideal location. Spent weekend visiting kids at Lees-McRae College; and we were close to the college and a variety of hiking and fishing locations. Could not have been more convenient. The unit itself was extremely clean and well decorated; comfortable and made for easy hanging out with the kids at the end of the day. An excellent place which we will book again.

Escape the Summer Heat

We enjoyed our week long trip to Beech Mountain at this wonderful condo. Great views of Grandfather and Sugar Mountains from the deck. Location provided short walks to several restaurants, a mercantile, and mini golf. Just a short drive down the mountain to Banner Elk and hiking trails.The condo was clean and well appointed with spacious rooms. We had a nice cool cross breeze on most nights that blew through the front and patio doors to keep us comfortable.

Great Snowy Stay!

Our trip was more than we could have imagined. The condo was well equipped with everything we needed for our 5 night stay! Upon arrival, the property manager was contacted and responded back immediately. Easy walk to many different spots in Beech Mountain and right across the street from the bus stop that takes you up to the ski mountain and brewery. If you are hoping to see snow, this place is picturesque! We had an amazing stay and will keep it in mind for our next snowy vacation!

Great Views and Great Location

We needed a break from the heat, and this was wonderful! The condo was as described and was just like the photos. Very clean, well maintained, and quiet. We had great views of the mountains and enjoyed sitting out on the deck. The bedrooms and bathrooms are spacious, and the bed we used was very comfortable. This was the best location we have stayed on Beech Mountain with plenty of places to walk. Communication with the host was excellent. Overall a great vacation for us and would easily return.

Kitchen & a view

We have rented multiple cabins and condos in the Boone area over the past 10 years and this unit has the most well-equipped kitchen of them all. The pots/pans/knives are of the quality that is normally locked up in the owner’s closet. This place is clean and the decor gives one a homey, relaxed feel. The beds are very comfortable and the view is very nice. We will definitely rent this unit again.

Great Weekend

We enjoyed our stay. The townhouse was in a great location where it was close to everything in town. It was only a couple minutes to the top of the mountain to pick up skiers. You could probably walk if you had a snowboard but skis boots are little hard to walk in. The townhome was on a 10 min drive to Sugar Mountain if you want to switch it up a day. The beds were comfortable and we had everything we needed. We will definitely return when coming back to Beech.

A relaxing mountain retreat

I came to the mountains for a couple nights alone to get away from the stress of this year and to find a place to relax, reconnect, hike, paint, read, and soak in the amazing view in a quiet setting, and just breathe. Much needed “me” time during a hard year. This condo was the perfect place for my trip. The pictures don’t do it justice- it’s even prettier in person. Absolutely beautiful, modern, comfortable, clean, well stocked, plenty of room. Definitely a new favorite and would go back with my teenage kids or a couple friends without any concern of not having enough room. Truly lovely condo and wonderful stay. Thank you got sharing your vacation home!

Land of Oz

The property was beautiful and in an amazing location to so many outdoor activities. We came with friends to visit the Land of Oz, which is just above the condo on the mountain. At one of the look out points in Land of Oz, you can see the condo. The area has so many things to do especially if you love outdoor sports. Definitely recommend breakfast at Fred’s General Store which is walking distance to the condo. Grandfather Mountain is a must see as well. We came in late night (around midnight) and the GPS took us down the road. The cell phone service isn’t the best in the area so I would recommend having directions prior to going up the mountain.
