Beautful Sunset Lake à Iron River - Grande Plage et de la pêche !!

Le "Muskie" est une cabine confortable et charmant qui se trouve sur une belle plage avec 4 autres cabines. Il dispose de 3 chambres et un soleil porche situé sur Sunset Lake à Iron River, Michigan. Il offre une belle vue sur le lac et est grand et spacieux. Il dispose d'une cuisine entièrement équipée, un bain et demi, une cheminée en maçonnerie, télévision par câble, et peut accueillir jusqu'à 8 personnes. Le chalet est situé à 3 miles à l'est de Iron River, Michigan, niché dans les pins, sur le magnifique lac Sunset.

Venez profiter de Sunset Lake et tout ce qu'elle a à offrir. Nous avons 100 pieds de belle façade de sable qui a un fond en pente douce - parfait pour les jeunes enfants! Nous fournissons un radeau et piscine plage jouets.

Ou, utiliser nos bateaux de pêche avec palettes (moteurs à louer à proximité des chutes de cristal, ou apporter votre propre bateau que vous pouvez ancrer à notre quai (rampe de lancement est de 500 pieds de la cabine). Le lac Sunset offre d'excellentes pêches au panfish, à l'achigan et au nord. Nettoyez votre poisson dans notre «maison de poisson» qui a de l'eau et un congélateur pour vos prises en cours d'exécution.

500 pieds de distance est également un grand parc du comté avec une grande aire de jeux, des terrains de basket, terrain de baseball, et de sa propre grande plage de baignade. Un endroit idéal pour laisser les jeunes enfants se reposer et découvrir.

Dans la soirée, profitez d'un feu de camp dans la fosse de feu au bord du lac. Après avoir connu un coucher de soleil bas au bord du lac, vous verrez comment le lac tire son nom - il est absolument spectaculaire! A la nuit tombée, les étoiles étonnantes et calme de l'UP se faire croire que si vous êtes dans un autre monde!

Family vacation

We have a cabin in Iron River but needed some extra space for family and friends. The Muskie cabin worked out perfectly! The cabin was exactly what you would think of when you think of a lake cabin. The kitchen was so nice and we loved having a dishwasher. Everything was so clean and exactly what we were looking for. I would highly recommend this cabin!

Nice little cabin

This was a nice little cabin. Lots of sleeping room. Queen bed was very comfortable. Full size bed is a futon mattress, so not as comfortable. The shower is very small. Very nice updated kitchen that was really stocked with anything you could need. Grounds are nice. There are 5 other cabins on the grounds though so you are sharing space with other people. We really enjoyed our stay!

Quirky & rustic cabin

Older cabin with many add-ons. Sulphur smelling water for most of our stay. Not really clean at all and we didn’t want to take our shoes off while walking around in the cabin.

Reunion

It was nice that we didn’t have to share the property all week. I was able to get a good walk in each morning and see lots of deer. I caught lots of fish off the docks with a couple other friendly campers. Took a nice little swim and visited with the neighbors. Everything was a short drive to the super 1 shopping area and met lots of nice people at the laundromat. Did lots of grilling and watched the sunset by the fire. There is a few friendly chipmunks that will keep you company. The loons have a sweet way of waking you up in the morning

Very nice clean cabin with the cabin feel. Don’t forget your towels and linens though. That part I over read oops. It made for good memories though lol.

Cute cabin with nice view

Our stay was very pleasant. We enjoyed being next to the lake and actually caught some fish! There is no internet connection unless you are in an open area on top of your vehicle, just a heads up for any one who may require internet. Bring some DVDs or blu rays if you have them, it will be the perfect time to use them!

Beautiful cabin!

Just arrived home from a 6 night stay at this cozy lake side cabin and it was such a relaxing time. The people everywhere were so kind and the beauty of the surrounding area was something that I would have never imagined. Great place to recharge, fish and hike! Don’t miss a trip to Bond Falls!!

Nice weekend away

We enjoyed our stay. The cabin is part of a small lot of cabins, so there’s not a lot of “private” outdoor space. This was no problem for us, as the others on site this weekend were other cabin owners and very friendly and welcoming. It would be an ideal location for a few families looking to rent multiple small cabins together and share the waterfront space! The public park/boat launch just a short walk away was nice, too. Beautiful lake and crystal clear water! The inside of the cabin was nice. There are a few different “levels” - one or two steps down/up to get from room to room, including the bathrooms. So, just something to consider if that’s an issue for a family member. The beds were comfy - we used the twins, queen and porch double. The bunk bed room fits only the bunk bed and small table lamp; it’s very small. It was also the only room in the cabin that had a more damp/basement-like smell, so we were fortunate that we fit in the other accommodations and just avoided that room. The owner was very attentive and quickly answer the few questions we had during our stay. The other cabin owners we met on the property were very kind and welcoming. It sounds like some nice upgrades are coming to the outdoor space next season, so that will make staying here all that more enjoyable.

Cozy with extra room!

This cottage was perfect for our needs. It had lots of extra touches for comfort: gas fireplace, fans, air conditioner and a Dishwasher. Our "game room" overlooked the beautiful lake where we were able to dock our boat. Great week and happy family memories!

our first UP vacation

The cabin was lovely and we very much enjoyed our stay. We especially appreciated having a dishwasher and an AC unit and floor fans. They helped keep the cabin very comfortable on some very hot and steamy days. Also enjoyed the jigsaw puzzles, and slept well. The twin bed room is a little snug, perhaps best for kiddos. The location is about an hour from Canyon Falls, an hour from Bond Falls and Agate Falls (they are about 15 min apart) and 1 1/2 hours from the Porcupine Mountains. These were all worth the trip. The Iron River Historical Museum is also worth seeing and spending a few hours at. Sunset Lake held true to its name with beautiful sunsets and the kayaking was great. Be sure to look for wildlife and flowers along the road and on the lake...varieties of Lupine flowers, daisies, wild raspberries and thimbleberries (that were both delicious), turkeys, pheasants, sandhill cranes, mom and baby deer, fox, loons, and lily pads.

We fell in love

This was our first visit to the lake and we fell in love! Amazing experience! Plenty of room for the whole family to have their own spaces and plenty to do on the lake. Great fishing and amazing sunsets! We will be planning future visits for the family and even some romantic getaways! Thank you for the opportunity to stay in the cabin, we enjoyed the lake vibe!!!!

Shepelevych Family Stay

We had such a great vacation . It’s really nice place right by the lake. You can swim , you can do fishing, you can enjoy beautiful sunset, fire-pit station so comfy and relaxing , you can watch at nights my full of the stars, we even heard wolves at night. The house inside has everything that you need . Thank you for games . The only that I would do just upgrade little bit the bedrooms . The property manager Jesse was really nice , answering on the phone right away if you need it. Thank you so much Jesse to your family for giving opportunity to us to stay here .

very relaxing stay

the property owner jessie was very accommodating for us. there were some things that were not right and he fixed it for us, like it says that it comes with a boat, but there was no boat, so he did refund us some money that we put towards a boat, even though we still had to pay an additional for a boat our stay was very relaxing. im not sure how much he pays to have his cabins cleaned, but the lady that does the cleaning did a terrible job. the cabin was filthy and before i was able to bring anything in i had to clean the counters, kitchen, all the floors and the bathroom.. the 6 hour trip was worth it. we would go back again, but this time would try a different lake. jessie was easy to get a hold of and he was kind. so this review is not against him, but more so the lady that cleans the cabins who was rushing because she had her kids sitting in the car...

Jesse - Luckily, I grew up in a family that had a lake cottage. My wife and I wanted our children to have that same experience of 'going to the cabin'. We are happy to share our piece of heaven with others when we are not able to use it! From the number of renters that keep coming back year after year, I can tell that Sunset Lake has a special place in their heart!

Pourquoi avoir choisi cet hébergement ?

My wife and I decided to purchase 'The Muskie' after visiting the area and falling in love with all that Sunset Lake has to offer. Our family loves the combination of a great sandy beach, awesome fishing, a playground nearby, and the friendly attitude of all the people in the U.P.

Quels sont les atouts de cet hébergement ?

Our family enjoys the beach and swimming most of all, but the campfires down by the lake are a close second! And, the fishing keeps even our young children entertained. The peacefulness of the U.P. cannot be overstated - uncrowded lakes, beautiful scenery (including amazing local waterfalls), and the friendliness of the people of Iron River. Once people have visited Sunset Lake they can't wait to get back!!!
