For our group of 3 couples (one with children), this house was a perfect fit. There's a primary bedroom on the first floor and the rest of them (all ensuites) are upstairs. One was extra nice with a large bathroom and the rest were all decent with average size spare bathrooms. The kitchen was large and worked well for having a few meals in. Kiddos enjoyed the pool, even though it was a little cooler because we didn't purchase the heating package. We enjoyed sitting out on the lanai as well as walking around the pond behind the house, as there was a nice sidewalk. Oh, and the kids really loved the upstairs living room as well as the games provided in the garage. We were pleased with the proximity to activities such as Fun Spot/Old Town as well as Gaylord Palms. There's a Walmart less than a mile outside of the gate, convenient for any forgotten items. As the ad clearly mentions, you'll need to bring your own stuff, such as extra paper towels, TP, and paper towels. They give enough to get settled in but then you'll need some as well as loofahs or wash cloths, as they also let you know those are not provided. A couple things to note, though they would not keep us from booking again: 1. Contact the property manager before you get there and request a QR code to get into the gate. The attendants WILL NOT let you in without this, and it caused us some embarrassment.2. We had two people show up without notice to clean pool and deliver dryer early both mornings.
Terrible communication / Most uncomfortable beds / Roaches
I am writing to express extreme disappointment with my recent stay at a property in Orlando from May 15th to May 18th. While the house appeared nice superficially, numerous significant issues severely impacted our vacation and made it very unpleasant. The most concerning problem was the prevalence of cockroaches, primarily in the kitchen at night, even while we were actively cooking. This is a major health and hygiene concern that made it difficult to use the kitchen facilities.Beyond the insect problem, we encountered several maintenance and safety issues:The sliding door to the lanai was extremely difficult to close, requiring significant force. It appeared to have been previously opened by force, as evidenced by the attached photo. The pool safety fence had a dangerous gap, allowing easy access for children. This was particularly alarming as pool safety was a primary reason for selecting this property. The air hockey machine was non-functional.The toilet seat in the downstairs bathroom (behind the living room) would not stay up on its own, requiring it to be held manually. The ice maker was not working, with a frozen ice hole, raising concerns about potential filter issues. The beds and pillows throughout the entire house were excessively firm and uncomfortable, making it impossible for anyone to get a good night's rest. I even experienced neck pain after the first night. Our frustration began even before arrival due to significant problems with the booking process.
