Have fun with the whole family at this stylish home. Everything has been recently renovated. This is directly across from a beach, which is perfect for winter and summer activities. We supply 2 kayaks, fishing poles (Bring your fishing boat)This place has 3 bedrooms, and a total of 5 beds. There is also a lot of dining and shopping, nearby. This is a hidden gem and brand new to VRBO.

Such a cute place! Great view!

Loved the view of the lake out the big front window. Perfect place for a family getaway. Apple play on tv worked great. We set up 5 yoga mats in living room and did yoga. Great full length mirror. Cute decor. Couch was comfy and bigger than I thought it would be from the pics. Wish the bunk bed had comfier mattresses - our teen girls were complaining - but they’ll survive lol! Bring coffee for standard coffee maker if you drink coffee. And have fun! Can’t wait to go back this summer. :)

Great Location on Round Lake!

Very enjoyable stay--no frills, but several rooms, very clean and a gorgeous view of the lake! We attended a family event--they live across the lake, which was very convenient.

Awesome family getaway

excellent location - very clean - close to everything we wanted to visit - owners very helpful only 20 min from Antioch where we had our family reunion - this is the 2nd year we have stayed here - very happy - lake visable from front windows - beds comfy - kitchen completely stocked - great sunsets - easy walking in the area - shopping close by wonderful rental

Fourth of July Stay

The property was great. It was exactly as described and the owner was available to answer any questions quickly. I stayed with my husband and 2 year old for the Fourth of July and the location was perfect for us. Right across the street from park and beach. Only problem we had was the grill wasn’t clean. We couldn’t use it, which was kind of a bummer since it was the 4th of July but not the end of the world. Would definitely stay here again.

The house was perfect for us as we were visiting family in the area. House was very clean and comfortable and had everything we needed for our stay. Lake view in the morning was quite relaxing. Would stay here again.

Amazing property on the lake!

We knew nothing about this area before coming. Dirty Heads had a concert in McHenry nearby so we booked this property for the week. The property itself was great, plenty of room for our dogs too. The kayaks were a huge bonus, too. If you play Pokemon Go, this entire area is amazing as well. 2 stops able to be reached from the living room. All in all, think we may actually come back to the area in the future even without a concert. Will definitely book this one if we do.

Nice cottage

Great little place Nice park and lake across the street. If you stay on a Friday or Saturday night expect some noise from the park. Mostly families bbq but some younger guys showing off how loud their car is. But with windows closed and AC on it was ok and by 11pm it quieted right down.

Perfect family getaway!

Great space for our family. Clean home matched the description. Not too far from restaurants but in a quiet location by the lake. Enjoyed our stay and would recommend!

Six Flags getaway

Great property with easy access to six flags. Plenty of grocery stores and restaurants close by to the house. Place was perfect for our family and we enjoyed the lake, kayaking, and walking around. A great place that we would certainly stay at again.

Nice place while visiting family

This was a great location to spend some quiet time. I was in town for a funeral and it gave me a great place to unwind. There was a place to walk by the water. The house was very clean and it had plenty of room if you were with a family.

Peaceful getaway

The neighborhood was quiet and the lake was beautiful! Was so nice waking up to the beautiful lake each morning! The house was as pictured! Would stay again if returning to the area.

Lake Front Property

Very clean. Easy access to lake/park. Functional home for getting around Northern Illinois suburbs. Train station to Chicago 5 minutes away. Yard is separate from house. Nice cedar deck.

Functional little home on the lake

The house is very quaint, across the street from the lake. Gorgeous sunny views! 3 bedrooms, living room has a pull out couch and large tv. Plenty of closet space. The listing said washer/dryer. Which we believe are in the basement. But the door handle does not give access, so we weren't able to utilize. Also stated was to park 'near the fence'.. we spoke with the owner, luckily this actually meant park in the driveway. We stayed in Round Lake for a wedding. Would love to see a full length mirror or two added for those needing to prepare for an event. Overall an adorable home, and nice stay.

Perfect for our girlfriends weekend!

I stayed at the Lake/Beach Getaway with two of my lifelong friends for a long weekend. It was perfect! There was a market in the park across the street on Saturday, we enjoyed browsing the food and gifts for sale and got some goodies! We also enjoyed the music. The neighbors nearby and going for the evening walks were all very friendly. The place was wonderful, no problems and great location!

Lovely Location

This was a very nice place with a beautiful view of the lake! I would add a mirror in one of the rooms and a quieter fan in the bathroom. Loved the shower! Would recommend this property to others staying in the area.

OUTSTANDING PROPERTY

The home is clean, neat, well-appointed, convenient to everything, and situated on the beautiful Round Lake. My only regret is that we could not stay longer. I will be anxious to visit again during my next trip to Chicago.

Loved the View

We had a great time at this property! It was clean and the shower was fantastic! It was right across from the park, which my dog absolutely loved going to! The owner even called to give us a heads up that the workers creating a deck out front had arrived.

Amazing property and location

We were there for a family reunion 15 minutes away. We found the Lake Beach home to be in an excellent choice with many thoughtful amenities like enough hooks in the bathroom. lots of windows to enjoy the views. the lake and park were right across the street. lots of drawer and closet space and a well stocked kitchen. extremely comfortable beds shopping and dining close by beautiful lake style neighborhood to enjoy hope to stay for our July 2024 vacation
