We take the cleanliness and condition of our home very seriously and would like to clarify a few points. We have no record of a roach infestation at the property, and no roaches were reported to us during your stay. Had you notified us of any pest concerns, we would have promptly investigated and taken appropriate action. We also offered cleaning during your stay to help ensure the home was comfortable for you. We were also surprised by the comments regarding the condition of the home, especially because we make every effort to maintain the property to a high standard and address any concerns brought to our attention during a guest’s stay. Additionally, the reservation did not comply with our house rules regarding the number of guests. Six adults stayed at the property, contrary to the occupancy information provided in the house rules. Accurate guest counts are important for safety, cleaning, and property-management purposes. We value our guests and welcome legitimate feedback, but we also believe it is important to provide accurate context for future guests reviewing this property.

I am sorry to hear that our home did not meet your expectations. During your stay, we were never notified that the temperature was uncomfortable or that you were having difficulty with the air conditioning\. The central AC was in working order, and had we been made aware of any temperature concerns, we would have been happy to assist and adjust the settings accordingly. The size of the home and the kitchen chairs are accurately represented in the listing photos, so guests can have a clear understanding of the space and furnishings before booking. We also want to clarify that you received complimentary house cleaning and a complimentary bedding change during your stay. In addition, all garbage was removed during your stay as a complimentary gesture. We also found some personal belongings that you left behind in the closet, contacted you immediately, and offered to send them to you. We always welcome communication during a guest’s stay so that we have the opportunity to address concerns promptly and help make the experience as comfortable as possible.

We are sorry you didn't enjoy your stay. We try our best to provide our guests with an enjoyable vacation experience. We take extra time cleaning after every guest. We provide all the small necessities for free: linens, towels, shampoo, pots and pans, coffee, tea, beach chairs, that you will not find in commercially managed properties. Our house lists 5 people maximum, however with two bedrooms and a bunk bed, all clearly shown in the pictures, we really hoped it would be clear that we meant 2-3 adults with 2-3 kids for a maximum of 5 people. Teenagers are adults as far as sleeping space is concerned. Perhaps a 3 bedroom house would suit your vacation needs better in the future.
