Main Floor of Home Complete with Kitchen, Living, and Dining areas, Also has Laundry & Two full Bathrooms and sleeps up to 6 Adults and 4 Kids. three Bedrooms and living room area Just a great option to feel at home when you're here in Three Hills
There is no pool located at this property. It is a beautiful, clean house with a large, stocked kitchen. The bedrooms are nice and roomy. The one white bunk bed needs something to reduce the squeak of the bed frame. There are two suites at this house but other than the cars on the driveway, you wouldnât know because we couldnât hear anything. Would definitely stay again.
The house itself was realky nice, the only issue was we booked this place instead of others because it said there was a hot tub. There is no hot tub or pool though. When i messaged the host they said the hot tub listed was at the community pool that was a fairly long walk away and you had to pay in enter obviously. We were really disappointed by that.
Used the home as an overnight stay near to Drumheller. Three adults and two children. A slight hiccup with check-in which was easily resolved by the manager. The home was everything we needed with three bedrooms, lots of beds, two bathrooms, and a fully equipped kitchen. I would highly recommend this home.
We had a great stay during our time in Drumheller. This is a very nice house in a quiet location at the end of the street, backing onto a beautiful wheat field. The drive to Drunlmheller was about 40 minutes, but this was still better value than anything we found there.
It would have been nice to have proper dishes and cutlery. We were happy with the accommodations, but this addition would make it better.
The first bedroom on the left the bottom bunk squeaked everytime you moved. Maybe rubber washers may help alleviate the this annoying noise.
Overall we enjoyed our stay.
The location was perfect for our trip to Drumheller. Plenty of rooms and beds for our small family and very clean. The IGA in town had our meal ingredients so we saved money cooking our own dinners. Bring a wine opener or be ready to be creative.
This was a solid stay. It was well kept and clean but could definitely use some upgrades. Like the dining chairs are very worn out and one is broken, very squeaky metal bunk bed, one door is very âstickyâ so you canât close itâthe one with the single bunk bedsâall the door hinges squeak loudly, and the shades in the bedroom donât block out much light for early or late sleep ins ⊠just small stuff, but itâs all functional and provides lots of seating for large groups. Some parts of the house are old, but a lot has been well maintained or upgraded. The upgrades are a bit rough around the edges, but itâs clear that the place is well looked after and is clean and comfortable and it has everything you need, including board games which is very thoughtful. I was confused when booking because it says the whole house is yours but there is actually another âunitâ in/above the garage? Not sure. But we never heard the other person while there. Also I wish there was a photo of the exterior in the listing. Itâs actually pretty nice. Itâs not a lot of square footage but the layout has a nice flow so your not bumping into people all the time and itâs nice that there are three bedrooms (one with an en-suite). It was 30 degrees in the daytime when we were there but the place has a few fans and it helps if you open the place up in the evening and it cools right off. I didnât check if the couch was a pullout, but if it was, then it could technically fit 10 people (if two can use a double bed).
Good:
-the bedrooms were clean
-bedding was nice
-lots of sleeping space for my family
-located behind an elementary school and my kids liked the playgroud
-cute and quiet town
Bad:
-there is NO pool...even though it is listed as an amenity.
when i inquired, the owner said we could go to the public pool, which is quite an inaccurate description
-laundry is only available if you ask and it was unlocked for us a few days before we left.
-with 4 kids, laundry and a pool were the primary reasons for choosing this place
-kitchen supplies are bare bones. no wine opener, no coffee maker, (but had a kurig with 4 pods for 4 nights) and 2 dish cloths
-1 roll of paper towel, 3 dishwasher pods, no extra hand soaps, 3 rolls of toilet paper in each washroom, zero cleaners available.
-i had to ask for more cleaning supplies
this was not a well stocked or updated home away from home. we were there for 4 nights and needed to grab stuff from our camping bins on a few occasions.
the kitchen table chairs need to be tightened as they rocked and the vent in the kitchen is bent backwards and my son cut his toe while walking by it.
my family rents a home for a week once a year and have never had these challenges
