Really great spot in a small and quiet little town. A great base for visits with friends in the area and away from the bustle of Raleigh (but not too far away). Older house but well maintained and lots of little extras. Loved sitting on the screened in porch to enjoy breakfast. Bedrooms were comfortable and my Mom and I had all the amenities we needed for a nice stay.
This is a stellar rental property. From the reservation to check-in to check-out, we enjoyed every moment. Our host replied IMMEDIATELY when we had a question, and was so polite, knowledgeable, and friendly. The house itself is perfectly staged, not too much fussiness, yet so inviting. We were comfortable there from Day 1. We also loved the proximity to the Historical section of Franklinton, which is all walkable. We ate at Curtsey's, Franco's, Toro Tacos, the bakery and the ice cream shoppe. A personal favorite for me was hearing the train so near two times daily as I love traveling the Amtrak Cardinal. I hope to return next June! This host and home is a great find!
Our second stay at this property. It's really home away from home! Manager is always available and very prompt in addressing any questions that may arise.
We stayed her visiting some family in the area and LOVED it. Itâs a quiet area and the home is so lovely and clean. The owner was so responsive and helpful which made our stay even better. Super close to anything you might need to get to and great way to have the family together. 10/10 would stay again.
This is a lovely house - clean, nicely furnished, comfortable furniture. I have never seen a place so well stocked with everything you may need! We will definitely book again!
Nice house, the only problem we had was we couldnât find the remote for the tv in the living room. Was well located to visit and shop with family that lives in Youngsville.
We loved our stay at Jehuâs home! Everything was perfect and easy from check in to check out. The house was filled with everything you could ask for to include wine, snacks, and water! Many extra touches throughout and the beds were super comfortable. The bars and boutiques of Franklinton were just a one block walk away. Highly recommend this home if you are in town.
We spent 3 weeks in this property while our home nearby was undergoing some renovations. It was the perfect location to be able to check on our house and to be in a convenient place. The host was very prompt in answering the few questions we had. Although this is an older home, it is quite charming and most importantly it was clean and the bed slept great! An added bonus was the great restaurants and coffee shop in easy walking distance. I recommend!
Communication was great. Small issue host made us aware of regarding plumbing day before visit. It happened last minute. Was gracious in offering discount. Home was clean and snacks and drinks were provided. Nice touch! Property is older but well maintained. Nice quiet neighborhood and friendly neighbors. Will be visiting area again and will stay at this property.
This property was perfectly located for my son's wedding. The vows were recited in the woods on his property on Collins Mill Rd in Castalia, N.C. but the reception was held in the old train station on Mason St. in Franklinton. Everything worked out perfectly, even though rain drops spoiled part of the ceremony. Our stay at the house was comfortable all week and the street was quiet in the evenings. There was ample parking for our family's 3 cars. Main street with its shops and many dining venues was just a few blocks away. We will be back!
Our stay was enjoyable. The host responded promptly and hospitably when we asked questions.
I gave 4 stars on cleanness because the bathroom toilet had a supply line leak that I reported to the host. He responded promptly.
There were also complementary toiletries that were helpful as well as refreshments (snacks, drinks, etc) that the host had left for us to enjoy.
Great experience!
Property so close to family and convenient to any business needed. Manager was quick to respond to any questions asked. Property very clean and well stocked. Very, very happy with everything.
Iâm a Winston-Salem, NC native now living in the Raleigh area. Avid outdoorsman and car enthusiast blessed to work in the automotive industry close to my passion! My job affords me the opportunity to travel often and build business for my company so I figured Iâd share my space with fellow travelers while away!
My place is located on a quiet one-way street within Downtown Franklinton. The town has implemented a revitalization plan that showcases the exciting growth coming to the area. This house is walkable to new and coming dining, shopping and fun activities.
This charming brick ranch home has lived a long life and Iâve worked hard to bring it into the present while maintaining the character that makes it so unique! Thereâs room to spread out and relax here while having a dedicated space to work and be productive. It's close to downtown Franklinton as well as neighboring areas such as Wake Forest, Youngsville and Raleigh.
