Log Cabin - Views of Nantahala National Forest - Hot Tub -Fire Pit-Pet Friendly
Nestled in a private community, you will reconnect and unwind as you discover the adventures of Western North Carolina. After a day of hiking, water sports, fishing, shopping, skiing, train rides, and great food head back to the cabin to enjoy a soak in the hot tub or sâmores around the fire pit. Our cabin is less than 10 miles from adventures for every season and sits within walking distance to the Old Tennessee River. Take a left turn out of the community entrance for a short 20 minute drive to the beautiful city of Franklin North Carolina or turn right for a fun windy 35 minute drive to the historic Bryson City. The short drive to reach the cabin once you enter the private community is breath-taking as you meander through the woods on a single lane road to the top of the mountain side. On a busy day you may see two cars past the cabin so come relax, explore and seize the moment at the Hidden Acre Overlook Cabin
Host was very accommodating, and responded to any questions. Cabin was perfect for us... Loved the lay out, fireplace, firepit, hot tub, and all of it!
Our family of 8 had a wonderful time. A beautiful cabin which is more like a home and was a great location to get us tubing, the train ride and into the National Park. We stayed six nights and everything we needed was provided. Especially loved the hot tub! Just be aware those with a hard time negotiating steps might have difficulty getting to the fire pit as it is many steps down. But was a great place for our family.
The owners of this beautiful home were very attentive and helpful with all our needs, responding quickly to our questions, etc. The layout of the house was perfect for our family. The location was great, with amazing views. The home was well-equipped and very clean. We enjoyed our stay and will be returning!
Fully stocked and plenty of space to be comfortable with multiple people. Peaceful, quiet and relaxing location for my 60th birthday. Great views from deck.
The cabin was awesome⊠nicely decorated, easy access into the cabin, well furnished, very comfortable, relaxing atmospere, great location, and excellent communication from the cabin owners prior to arrival, during stay, and after checkout. We couldnât have asked for a better vacation.
We come every year for our family reunion. We have always stayed in cabin rentals and this was me of the top. Convenient to get to, very clean, beautiful view from deck! We loved it!
This house was all they said it would be. It was fully stocked, a million dollar view, clean and wonderful. We spent five amazing nights at this property and wish we could have stayed for even more. It is convenient to Franklin and Bryson City and many activities in the area. It truly is nestled in in paradise and we highly recommend!
The property was clean, beautifully manicured, thoughtful safety features such as well lighted walkways, gates and nonskid tape. The fire pit and hot tub were wonderful. The kitchen was well equipped for any type of cooking. Overall a five star house
Our family loved our mountain Thanksgiving at your home! It was perfect for our group, We had plenty of room to spread out, beautiful scenery and walks, and the cabin had everything we needed. Communication was very good with the owner, and our check in and check out moved smoothly. It is a vacation we will always treasure!
We celebrated Christmas with family! Rode Polar Express for grandkids!! A wonderful experience for all!! We loved the cabin, hot tub and fire pit for roasting marshmallows and making sâmores! We loved the beautiful views!
My family of 5, my mother, father, and Grandmother in-law throughly enjoyed our stay. The cabin is just as described. Very clean, nicely stocked kitchen, and a hot tub with a view! Plenty of room for us all. It was perfect for our trip! Communication with the host was also timely and informative.
Our Labor Day weekend stay was fantastic. Communication from the host before, during, and after our stay was excellent. The tri-level floor plan makes the top two levels best for folks who like to share space. The basement level offers a separate cozy space. Bonus points for well stocked kitchen, good internet, spacious decks, and seclusion in a beautiful area. The 8 mile curvy road leading to the cabin gets shorter and more comfortable each time we drove the 25 minutes to Nantahala Outdoor Center.
Very clean and spacious! Well equipped home with all the essentials provided. The weather didnât cooperate for us so we didnât get to enjoy the outdoor decks and fire pit area but it all looked wonderful! Mike was on top of any questions we had about our stay! Overall a great experience!
Property is absolutely stunning! Tucked away in a peaceful, secluded, quaint little slice of heaven. Just bring your groceries, no need to leave. Relax in the hot tub, porch swing, or just gazing out the plentiful windows from the sofa. You will not regret renting this gem! Owner was on pointe with communication and suggestions. Will definitely be back. Thank you for sharing with my family.

We chose this neighborhood for the spectacular drive up the mountain and the views of the river as you lave the neighborhood. Our neighborhood is the perfect location to find adventures for all seasons, Whether we turn left or right out of the neighborhood we are headed towards adventures. If we stay at the cabin all day, we are content to soak in the tranquil scenery and sounds of each of the seasons.
The cabin was built on a mountain with breathtaking mountain views and we are close to the Nantahala Outdoor Center that the locals call the "Gorge". There are fun adventures and leisure activities for everyone! The entrance of our neighborhood is perpendicular to the Little Tennessee River which offers unique and beautiful views at every turn. Driving along the river you will see fly fishing, swimmers in tubes, and kayaking. We've also seen wildlife including deer, otters, various birds, and eagles.
