Welcome to a beautifully renovated home with a private garden! This is a wonderful place to relax and enjoy time with loved ones. The house has an open concept that encourages guests to spend quality time together. The outdoor space is a highlight of this property. The house is furnished with quality furniture and linens to make sure you have a comfortable stay. You will be centrally located in La Junta. The Garden is located close to the hospital, college and just a block from our beautiful city park.

Such a lovely place to stay, and had everything we might have needed in the kitchen and bathroom. I was even able to dry my curly hair with the diffuser on the blow dryer. It was also really nice to sit out in the backyard. We would definitely stay here again. Thank you!

Cozy house and friendly hosts

Really enjoyed our stay at the Garden. The house was wonderfully appointed (including fresh eggs in the fridge!) and our hosts were very friendly and responsive. It was an excellent experience and I would certainly stay again if I was in the area.

The Garden is Glorious

Very clean and comfortable and enjoyed the farm fresh eggs from the chickens ready for us in the fridge. Very relaxing and tranquil environs and great amenities. Fantastic place to stay!

This is our second stay at Kelly’s property and still fantastic. Cute, comfortable, clean, quaint, beautiful garden, quiet neighborhood, and friendly chickens (with fresh eggs). Can’t really ask for more.

My wife loved her stay at this place It was everything that she wanted and expected. With the gardens and the chickens in the back yard and the style of the house. It is very well kept and even had fresh eggs in the frig. It actually made her happy to be staying there.

The Garden is a very hospitable home. Kelly has everything you need and makes her house so inviting. The house is very clean and comfortable. It is very enjoyable sitting on the back deck watching the chickens! We will go back for sure!

A wonderful place to stay

The Garden is an exception place to stay!!!!! So clean and has all the amenities anyone could ask for. They make you feel very comfortable and you feel at home. And the back deck, garden and chickens are beautiful. I would definitely go back & would recommend The Garden to anyone.

Charming getaway

The house was well appointed and featured some very charming touches such as a jar of currant jam from made from the bounty of the lush garden behind the house that was also home to some cute chickens. The kitchen was stocked with some milk and cream, as well as some snacks which saved us the bother of having to source them ourselves and having to abandoning the provisions before moving on to our next stop. The house was comfy and was a relaxing respite from our cross country road trip.

Amazing and Restful Property

I rented the property for 7 days while visiting Rocky Ford for a celebration of life for my brother. The house was perfect in every way. It was immaculate, newly renovated, and fully stocked. Loved the layout w 2 bed 1 bath and the open feel of the house. The porches and the large garden in the backyard were restful and what I needed. Kelly and Mike were personable and great property owners. 5 star for sure. I will visit again!

This beautiful, clean, spacious, wood floored home is one of the most peaceful I've ever been to. Every towel, blanket, rug is well thought out and makes your stay extra special. The backyard is a beautiful garden of vegetables and herbs, and there is a flock of chickens roaming nearby. There's a nice covered porch facing the west with a really great Blackstone to cook all of your meals on. There is a sunroom, perfect for reading as the sun rises, with comfortable furniture to mingle for hours. The beds are exceptionally comfortable with good linens and good pillows. Communication with the owner was amazing, and my two nights stay was so quiet and so relaxing. It was an exceptional experience. Maybe I'll come back every year!

“Beautiful”, “quaint”, “perfect”

These were the words that kept getting repeated during our stay at Kelly’s house in La Junta. Our only regret is we were not quick enough to book it for the whole weekend (lucky enough to get one night). If you’ve stayed in a few rentals you know that some properties just have a good vibe or feel about them, this is one of those places; it just feels like home (but nicer). Comfortable seating and beds, sunny front porch, well-appointed kitchen (including fresh eggs and homemade jam!), and wonderful back deck/patio overlooking a lush backyard (and the friendly chickens!). Love this place, we will be back.

Slice of heaven!

Our stay at this remarkable property in La Junta was nothing short of exceptional. From the moment we walked in, we felt an immediate sense of home and nostalgia. The house was impeccably clean and beautifully updated, equipped with everything we needed to feel comfortable and settled. The backyard was an absolute highlight, featuring fresh vegetable gardens, fruit trees, and even chickens! My 10-year-old daughter was captivated by the chicken pen and spent most of her time there. This beautifully renovated home not only offers modern comforts but also preserves the charm and heritage of its past. We couldn't have asked for a better experience and can't wait to return!
