Easy check-in and checkout. Close to the National parks and Estes Park. Very easy to communicate with the owner for all our needs. Even had a couple of bears outside our cabin!

Rob was great to communicate with and offered lots of suggestions for our stay. Cabin itself is beautiful and it wasn’t too hot without AC in August! Kitchen is fully stocked with everything you could need! Highly recommend

What a beautiful and spacious log cabin! We enjoyed cooking in the gourmet kitchen, hanging out on the deck with views of the Rocky Mountains, sightings of bear, fox, turkey and a constant stream of hummingbirds! Rob was super welcoming and encouraged us to make ourselves at home. With bedrooms on three floors we were able to spread out. This was a teriffic gathering spot for our group of friends.

The property is beautiful. The house was immaculate. Rob was a great host! The check in process was easy, and flexible in light of our flight being delayed. The property was conveniently located for our needs , being surrounded by national forest and close to RMNP but also close to family that we were visiting there. All in all in was a very peasant stay

Absolutely one of the best vacation rental experiences we have ever had. Cabin was awesome! had anything you could possibly need. Scenery view was beautiful from decks. Black bear visited almost daily which was great to watch. Red fox passed by a few times. Ground squirrels & hummingbirds were entertaining to watch on the deck. Host was friendly, courteous, & communicated cabin details. Thanks for allowing us to experience your place.

We loved our time at this cabin in Ward, CO. The cabin had all of the amenities necessary to make our stay comfortable and enjoyable. Our host had the kitchen stocked with the basics (and more!) so that we were able to prepare meals and not have to worry about forgetting something. The nature around the cabin was fabulous! We loved spotting a moose and many turkeys just outside the cabin windows. And you can't beat waking up to the beautiful mountain views. Thanks for a wonderful stay.

For one Mr Rob was an outstanding Host . He was quick to respond to all our questions since the week before our stay they had a snow storm. The cottage was BEAUTIFUL very spacious for me and my family with amazing views. Highly recommend his place for your next family vacation.

Rob is a fantastic host! He’s friendly, down-to-earth, and his knowledge of the area really enhanced our stay with great recommendations and local insights. Communication was excellent from start to finish, and the cabin was wonderful—clean, comfortable, and exactly what we were hoping for.The location is ideal, perfectly situated between Estes Park and Boulder, making it easy to explore both areas while still enjoying a quiet, peaceful retreat. One of our favorite parts of the trip was sitting out on the deck each morning and evening, watching the hummingbirds buzz around the feeders. The kids absolutely loved it, and we saw plenty of other wildlife as well.The cabin is also thoughtfully stocked with just about everything you might need, from basic seasonings in the kitchen to books and local magazines that helped us discover even more of the area.We had a great stay and wouldn’t hesitate to book with Rob again. Highly recommend!

Our stay at the mountain cabin was wonderful. Our host was very helpful and took my daughters and grandchildren on a hike our second day there. They were so happy to have a knowledgeable guide to go with them. The cabin was extremely clean and comfortable and the kitchen was very well stocked with spices and condiments. We would rate the cabin and host a 10 and would love to return again next year. Thank you to our host for making this a memorable week for me and my family.

This house far exceeded my expectations. First, it had a fully stocked kitchen with everything you need to prepare a big meal for a group. My Wife and I had a wonderful time at this beautiful home. Amazing location with lots of beautiful views and lots of wildlife to see. The house feels very remote, peaceful and very relaxing. The house is very well organized and has everything you might need during your stay. The Host/Homeowner (Rob) is very friendly and easy to communicate with. He really wants you to enjoy the area and your stay. I highly recommend staying here and my wife and I will definitely return ッ

Fantastic Location, Fantastic Host

We stayed at this location with my son and my parents. House itself is beautiful and exactly as described. Location is perfect - close enough to get to Boulder or Rocky Mountain National Park, but far enough away to give you the real forest feel. Snowy mountains visible from the windows as you eat breakfast. Nice hikes just 5 minutes away. We loved everything about our stay and will certainly come back if we have the opportunity.

The Ideal Mountain Cabin

Can’t say enough about how great this place is. The cabin itself is top shelf - comfortably appointed and very spacious with an unmistakable Colorado vibe. Easily accommodated 3 adults, 3 kids and a dog. It’s also perfectly located - 30 minutes from Boulder, 30 minutes from RMNP, and right on the edge of some fine wilderness hiking. Close enough to civilization that you can get what you need and far enough from town that you can leave civilization behind. Highly recommended.

The cabin was in a beautiful location up in the mountains, about a 1/2 hour drive down to Boulder. The owner was very nice and helpful, even brought an extra bottle of wine to welcome us. The cabin was nicely decorated with a western cabin flair and we had all that we needed in a relaxed atmosphere. You do really have to watch out for bears in this remote location. We took very nice walks in the mountains with nice views every morning for about 45 minutes. During the summer months you do get hot sleeping on the first floor as you can’t open the windows at night on the first floor because of the bears and there’s no ac. The only other thing is there is only one shower, the upstairs bathroom is a tub and the upstairs bedroom is a very open loft so you can’t go to sleep until the living room is quiet.
