It was a quaint, tranquil getaway to celebrate our anniversary. Very clean and decorated adorably. Would definitely stay again and recommend to others.
This cottage was perfect for our 34th Anniversary getaway weekend. We wanted something quite and romantic and this is the place. We loved our visit to Wetumpka and will be looking forward to visiting again.
No complaints hereâ my wife adored the decorations and we had a ball going to some of the restaurants in town and enjoying the scenic views of the river nearby. A must stop for anyone who wants to experience Wetumpka!
My husband and I visited for a wedding down in the area and we loved the cottage. Lorri was very easy to communicate with and was always very quick to respond. The cottage is very quaint and peaceful, and we wish we could have spent more time there!
Wetumpka was a quick overnight trip to attend a sporting event at Wetumpka Sports Complex (so nice). This house is so pretty, everything was perfect! It all looks very new, and has been so carefully thought out. Walk-in shower, soft towels, such a comfortable mattress!
I was unable to find a hotel room for my quick two-nights stay, and I am so glad that was the case. This cottage was truly a much more comfortable and peaceful option. I loved it- quite and so tastefully decorated. The owners were easy to work with and communicated efficiently. If I visit this area again, this is where I will stay.
Our travel to Wetumpka was very emotional and stressful, as we were there for a funeral for a dear loved one.
The âgolden nobleâ was a bright light in a dark time for us. Everything was wonderful - the absolute best vrbo I have ever stayed in. Thank you, Lorri!
We were traveling from Texas to North Carolina and stopped for one night at this adorable cottage. Wish we could have stayed longer. Comfortable bed, nice shower and extremely clean. Just what we needed after 13 hours on the road. So much better than a hotel room. The victrola was such a nice touch. Elvis singing Christmas songs. It doesnât get any better than that.
The home was beautiful, comfortable and just as depicted in the photos. The location was easily accessible to nearby stores for convenience and to the location of the wedding for which I was in town.
The internet went out on the first morning and I was unable to reset it. I sent two emails to the owner but received no response and it stayed off for the reminder of my stay. The plastic utensils were a bit odd considering how nice the house was but maybe that is just my preference. Also there was an ironing board but no iron.
Mike and Lorri Noble have been married for 27 years and were high school sweethearts in their hometown of Wetumpka. Mike has been a Certified Real Estate Appraiser in Wetumpka for the last 25 years and Lorri is a former real estate agent who now owns and operates her own company, Pacidoodle. Mike and Lorri have put their heart and soul into renovating Mike's ancestor's 1940 homeplace into a quaint cottage full of coziness and historic heirlooms. The Golden Noble name represents the family's names and is the kind of place where people want to stay and have a second cup of coffee. The owners are always close by should any of their guests have any questions or need extra towels.
