The house was wonderful. There are so many little details that made this place feel special. I will for sure stay here again. And the host was very attentive to any and all questions I had.
The house has been updated in the kitchen and bathrooms. The rest of the house has been renovated but still has the old southern feel. Probably the most clean property I have ever rented. 1.5 miles to downtown and plenty of restaurants in a 6 mile radius.
No complaints !! Home was clean and spacious . Home owner was very nice and worked with us throughout the entire process .. we will
Be booking this home for future stays
We loved this house, the neighborhood, and our weekend in Baton Rouge. Further, this is the first time I have ever stayed in a rental that was significantly *nicer* than it appeared in the pictures. Great place house. The only thing holding back a five-star rating is that we had a (small) plumbing challenge during our stay; reached out to the owner; and never received a response. Overall, I would stay here again.
We came for our daughter to tour LSU. This house was convenient to everything including dining, shopping, and LSU. The house was immaculate with great design taste and comfy furniture. Lance stayed in communication with us in case we needed anything. We would stay here if again when we make it back to Baton Rouge.
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay, it was perfect for a girls weekend! The house looks just like it does in the pictures and had everything we needed. The owner was very helpful and was easy to contact. I would highly recommend this house to anyone and will stay again!
My family enjoyed everything about this house. It's very accommodating and cozy. My husband and I enjoyed sitting on the porch in the morning and sitting out back in the evening. I will definitely book this house again.
Clean home, with everything you need for a comfortable stay. The home is recently updated, and they did a great job keeping original features that make this classic Garden District home so charming!
Easy check-in, convenient location, with plenty of little guest friendly touches (makeup wipes, coffee aplenty, fans in each bedroom). My husband and I shared the rental with friends, and we kept talking about how nice the place is!
Lance's place worked out great for the seven members of our family visiting Baton Rouge for a family reunion. Everywhere we needed to go seemed within minutes. He did an excellent job renovating this property. The bathrooms, kitchen and security were all high-end.
Born and raised in the New Orleans area. While a student at LSU, I worked in hotels where I gained valuable guest services experience. I dreamt of owning a hotel one day. Owning and operating multiple short term rentals has allowed me to fulfill my passion in hospitality and providing great experiences for others. I pride myself on offering a space that is of quality, comfortable, clean, and safe. Thank you for considering my space for your short term rental experience!
I purchased this property because of it's location. It's minutes to downtown, LSU and many other attractions and restaurants. It is in the heart of Mid City, an area that is experiencing a tremendous amount of growth and revitalization.
This home could not be built today the way it was originally built. It's a solid house with original wood flooring, plaster walls and ceilings, solid wood wainscoting and original wood windows. There are what used to be 4 fireplaces that have transitioned to being decorative over the years. The home has a rich history. It was once an antique store. More recently, it was a law office, which explains the library of law books in the front bedroom. I've converted the property back into a home.
