Relax in this tranquil mountain cabin. Perfect place to unwind or retreat to after outdoor adventures. Conveniently located between Brevard and Cashiers in the area known as the land of the waterfalls. The cabin is located inside the gated community of Westridge. The home faces the woods at the end of a street so there is plenty of privacy within the safety of a community. Walkable to restaurants. A short drive to Gorges State Park and Panthertown State Park. Both parks have great hikes to waterfalls.
Could not start log fireplace with no kindling. Need better instructions on operating tv. Otherwise everything else was explained nicely by host John. John was very responsive when we had questions. Thank you!!
This little cabin is a lovely mountain retreat! The neighbor is charming and the setting is very private. Large screened in porch is perfect for enjoying the beautiful views. With all the amenities, we felt right at home and loved that we could bring our fur baby!Highly recommend this property!
What a wonderful place! I came to this cabin, just my dog and I, to clear my head and do some hiking. The cabin was simply perfect! So clean and full of everything you might need for a comfortable stay. I canât recommend it enough. I will definitely be back if I find an open week!!!! Location was excellent and I felt very safe in a secured area. Loved it!!
My husband and I stayed at the Red Roof Inn Cabin for the Memorial Day weekend and enjoyed it. It was very close to hiking trails that allowed us to chase waterfalls -- one of our favorite outdoor activities. It is in a quiet neighborhood and the screened-in porch was awesome.
Perfect of you are visiting friends in Mountain Falls
This amazing, quaint little cabin is located inside the Mountain Falls gate, so if you are visiting friends or family in Mountain Falls, it's perfect! It's nicely decorated and well stocked. I had great communication with the owner, who is very responsive and goes out of his way to help. They even have a few resident Brevard White Squirrels, which were quite the delight!
We really enjoyed our stay. The only negative was that the hot water ran out one day when my wife was trying to take a shower. It didnât seem like we had used that much hot water before that but maybe we did. It was not a problem the next day.
This cabin was perfect for our needs. We had some business to do in the area and this location was exactly what we were looking for. The cabin was impeccably clean and John was very accommodating, offering any help we needed considering the outside temperatures were in the single digit range! The cabin stayed warm with the heating system and the fireplace added a warm and cozy ambiance. A short drive to Brevard, Cashiers, and Highlands for groceries and restaurants.
We loved everything about this cabin! The fireplace, cozy furnishings and rustic decor with beautiful natural lighting set the tone for a relaxing stay!
We really enjoyed this cozy little cabin. Itâs small but charming (room for only 2 adults). The screened porch was lovely, walking to coffee shop and Italian restaurant was nice too. I found the mattress a bit uncomfortable, but overall we loved our time at the Red Roof Inn.
First, let me say that the owner of the property, John, was so helpful and responsive! Then, the "Red Roof Inn" was just perfect for the two of us. Every need is met in that place! Loved the screened-in porch and the kitchen and the wood burning fireplace. We really liked everything about it and can't wait to return! Thank you John!
Great location for visiting family at the adjacent Mountain Falls motorcoach resort. Safe and secure neighborhood and close to so many activities in the area.
First time in a tiny house. House was decorated nicely and had all the amenities you can have in a house that size. Porch furniture could be updated to be more comfortable since a lot of time is spent there. Very unique community with Motor homes and homes. Traffic from 64 was very noticeable. Nice for a weekend stay.
Adorable, quiet cabin in a great location. Super clean and generously appointed; kitchen was stocked with everything we needed and more. Loved spending time on the screened-in porch and being immersed in nature - felt like living in a dream treehouse. Great home base for hiking; Gorges Sate Park is a must-see! We can't wait to visit again.
Easy check in other than⊠there were not clear instructions for the gate code before you enter the neighborhood. There is a guest service building that helped us get a gate code made. Other than that, I recommend staying 10000%! Wonderful clean cabin, relaxing over all amazing!
From Charleston, SC. Been in WNC for 10 years. Avid cyclist, runner, hiker and motorcycle rider. I enjoy sharing the cabin and Western North Carolina with visitors. Let me know if I can help provide any information about the local area.
I live full time in Hendersonville, NC. About an hour from the cabin.
