Spacious private in-law quarters with full bathroom and kitchenette. Beautiful landscaping around the home. Only 75 minutes from Madison, WI / 90 minutes from Milwaukee & Chicago. Stay with the care of designated Super Hosts. Please note home décor & furnishings are undergoing updates by 4/6. Will include a king bed and desk. Plenty of off street parking. Guest access
Guests will have access to the in-law quarters, parking in front of the unit, and side yard.

Basing your family fun here, you will have an excellent mix of relaxation, fun and proximity to:
- The Anderson Japenese Gardens
- Rock Cut State Park (14 minutes away, filled with trails, kayaking, paddle boats, and wild turkeys)
- Nicholas Conservatory & Gardens
- Discovery (Children's) Musuem
- Klehm Arboretum
- Volcano Falls Adventure Park
- Rockford Art Musuem
- Aldeen Golf Club (directly in your back yard)
- Blackhawk Springs Forest Preserve
- Atwood Mountain Bike Park
- And who could forget, delicious food

Not to mention -- Chicago is only 90 minutes away, as is Milwaukee, and Madison, WI (75 minutes).
Other things to note
PLEASE NOTE:
- Home décor and furnishings are in the process of being updated extensively throughout the home (to be completed by 4/6/23).
- What is currently a luxury office will instead have a king bed, desk, and seating area in addition to full bathroom and kitchenette. (Kitchenette has small fridge, microwave and basic dishes, but does not have cookware or stove or oven).
- Main home will be occupied by owner in preparation for listing home at large for vacation rentals.


Additional rules
1. PARTIES – We are thrilled for you to take advantage of the beautiful views and this lovely neighborhood in Rockford! Note that no more than two guests above the 3 person sleeping capacity are allowed in or around the in-law quarters. We try to maintain positive relationships with our neighbors down the drive who have a yard adjacent to ours, including a retired couple. Damages incurred will be invoiced.

2. SMOKING – Smoking is allowed outside in the back yard (please dispose of all cigarette butts and paraphernalia safely and properly). Zero smoking, pipes and/or vaping with potential to cause damage are allowed within the home, regardless of weather and window usage. Smoking damages in the home will be met with an invoice for professional cleaning services which range from ~$500 - $5,000 depending on the extent of damage and the availability of smoke removal services.

3. DISHES – Before checking out, please ensure dishes are cleaned.

4. MAINTENANCE SUPPORT – We want you to have a comfortable and hassle-free stay! If you find any issues in the home requiring our attention (e.g., leaks, key malfunction, inoperable appliances, etc.) first we want to offer our sincere apologies, and second, would be incredibly grateful for you to share what those issues are so that we can get them addressed as soon as possible.

5. PETS – As much as we love pets personally, pets are not allowed in the home, with no other exception than for service animals given the critical function they perform.

6. HOME ITEMS - If you love something in the house so much you’d love to keep it, let us know so that we can restock or provide guidance on where it came from if it is not an easily replaceable item.

7. PARKING - Plenty of off-street parking exists in front of the in-law quarters and looped drive. We ask that the shared blacktop drive way that continues on to a neighbor's home not be blocked in any way; blockages will be towed.
