This fully furnished studio suite features a full kitchen, large bathroom, queen bed, all furnishings, free laundry and free Wi-Fi. Fully updated with fire alarm system, carbon monoxide detectors, full fire sprinkler system and electronic keypad entrance. Managed by an onsite licensed MN Real Estate Broker. Very close to both hospitals. All utilities included.

I operate a real estate Brokerage in the front office of the building. I am in and out most weekdays, but I am more than happy to help out with any questions. Otherwise, I am always available via phone.

The neighborhood itself is walkable and welcoming, with local coffee spots, parks, and everyday conveniences nearby. Its hillside setting also means you may catch beautiful views of the lake and city—especially at sunrise or sunset.

Whether you’re here to explore the North Shore or enjoy Duluth’s local scene, this location makes a convenient and comfortable home base.

The main floor consists of my real estate office and 5 studio apartments. All apartments are fully furnished.

We are within walking distance to both hospitals, along with grocery stores, pharmacy, hardware stores and bars/restaurants.

Newly updated with all the modern amenities and a splash of the old building charm. In this completely rehabbed building, you will find original brick accents as well as reclaimed Douglas fir window trim and sills.
Smaller in size but all the amenities needed for daily life. A really nice space for your stay!

Close walk to so many things in the area. Close to public bus routes.

Parking: Street parking is available, alternate side parking calendars are inside the building and in the unit for reference.

The stay was great, there were two restaurants within walking distance and a park nearby as well. You are nestled between hospitals so street parking can be tough but we didn't have too much troubles with parking. Getting into the building was easy as well and the room was perfect with a little kitchenette. There were pots and pans provided as well so no issues with wanting to spend a day in rather than going out. Location was great as well close to downtown and other parks.

our only legitimate complaint is that the bed was uncomfortably saggy, but we're spoiled ... otherwise everything was as good as, or better than expected ... thank you!

Each one can offer such a unique experience from a local resident. I enjoy spending time with my family and we enjoy the outdoors, lakes, and golfing, which Duluth has some of the finest.

Pourquoi avoir choisi cet hébergement ?

Great Water Hotel is located in-between Essentia Health's new hospital and 1/2 block from St. Luke's Hospital and 1 block up from Sir Ben's. The immediate neighborhood is comprised mainly of apartment buildings and local residents, but down a block you will find yourself on Superior St. surrounded by local tourist destinations. You are close to Fitger's Shopping Complex, the Lake Walk, Rose Garden as well as many other shops, restaurants and bars. I love the location of this building, it is close and convenient to so much.

Quels sont les atouts de cet hébergement ?

Guests love staying here and because it's close to so much, but there's more. This unassuming building will surprise you as soon as you enter. The building was built in 1891 for commercial purposes, for many years it served as a baking goods supply warehouse, off loading goods from the local shores of Lake Superior. I purchased it in 2017 and completely renovated the interior, I mean completely. Everything on the inside of the building is new, except the floor joists and brick walls. So from the outside your looking at a 140 year old building and inside you will find modern finishes and furnishings. We were able to save exposed brick in spots, all the wood trim is reclaimed Douglas Fir, and we also ended up with really tall ceilings in the main floor units. You will find the apartment modern with an old school charm, and you will find yourself close to a lot of great Duluth spots! Cheers!
