Rollin on the River is a large riverfront home that is the perfect oasis to relax with your family and friends. Fall in love with this beautiful home and the riverfront views. This home sits on just over an acre of land and has plenty of outdoor space and seating for everyone. Our spacious home comfortably sleeps 15.

Welcome to our three-story, riverfront haven – an exclusive retreat for relaxation and quality time with your family and friends. This private oasis boasts abundant outdoor spaces, including a hot tub with river views, spacious patio, riverbank swings, and a large deck. Choose between a propane or charcoal grill to prepare delightful meals for your family, with plenty of seating available to either spread out or cozy up. The home comfortably accommodates 15 people.

The entrance is located on the second floor, which is the main floor featuring three bedrooms, two bathrooms, a full kitchen, dining room, and a welcoming living room. Ascend to the third level, where you'll find one bedroom, one bathroom, and a generously sized area encompassing a kitchenette, dining space, living room, and a dedicated game area. The bottom floor of the home is the garage, where you'll have access to one garage bay where you'll find kayaks and bikes. Please note that you must climb stairs to access the main level of the home.

Fully furnished for your convenience, the home includes TVs, linens, dishes, coffee pots, washer/dryer, cookware, crockpot, air fryer, and two grills. With over an acre of parking space available, your vehicles will find ample room to rest.

Ensuring your safety and peace of mind, external security cameras and a video doorbell are installed around the home.

Ark Encounter Visit

I stayed here with my wife, two adult kids, and their significant others. There was plenty of space and everything was clean. We used the hot tub and had a fire. It was close to the creation museum (didn’t visit this trip) and roughly 1 hour from the Ark Encounter. We enjoyed everything. Thank you.

A Perfect Spot for Family Time!

Our multi generational family of 15 people ranging in age from 8-81, wanted to extend our holiday time that included some skiing for 11 of us! We found the perfect spot at Rollin' on the River!! It is spacious, comfortable and ideal even for a group our size! The extra touches like the personal size toiletries were appreciated. From booking through the entire 3 days, Samantha was always prompt answering our questions. We spent our evenings playing games at the huge table which was amazing. The 4 teens loved the upstairs area where they could hang out. We highly recommend Rollin' on the River! We wish we could have relaxed ant the many outdoor areas but not the right season for that!! Thanks Samantha for a relaxing and fun family getaway.

Rolling River

We had some difficulties getting up the stairs into the home. We are not as young and in shape as we once were and there is no other way into the home without at least 16 steps. I did not realize this before booking. The home inside is beautiful and well arranged. We enjoyed our stay.

Golf trip

Overall the house suited our group very well. There was a lot of space on the patio for us to gather, plenty of seating, a fire pit, and the view of the river was great. Inside the house had plenty of sleeping space and a very nice table and chairs for meals together. The only thing that kept me from giving it a 5 star review was 1) the outdoor area was a bit dirty and full of cobwebs, and in need of some cleaning/washing, and 2) the road noise from the nearby road was a bit distracting - it’s a high traffic area. Other than that, very good.

Beautiful

very nice location and view. The house was very nice and spacious. We really liked it. (The outside spiders kept us from the swings too much and the hot tub at night and felt we had to run up the outside stairs to keep the spiders at bay. we were afraid to use the outdoor furniture bc there were just too many spiders around.) BUT the inside was AMAZING ...super comfy beds, lots of space, stocked kitchen, large table, plenty of room, and a gorgeous view. Also everything was in good order.

Great essentials!

I thought it was so great to see 2 different coffee pots with coffee pods, extra toothbrush, little sewing kit, even some candy! We were only there for the weekend but those little things meant a lot! Home was very clean! Easy access and Walmart near for grocery needs. Would recommend.

Breathtakingly beautiful

The house was perfect for my clients large family. They enjoyed the river next to them, where the fished and swam. There is a park not too far from the house and a walking path. Overall it was perfect and beautiful.

Golf Retreat Weekend

Rolling on the River was a perfect location for our golf trip with a group of 12. The house was very clean on arrival/check in and ready to go. It was located very close to the course we chose and Hollywood Casino, which made getting around super easy. I would highly recommend to any group or family looking for a nice summer getaway.

Amazing Stay

My husband and our school principal and his wife took a group of 11 high school students to The Ark Encounter and stayed over night at Rolling on the River and then went to Newport Aquarium the next morning. This location is perfect for such a trip! There are also local restaurants nearby. The views from the home and the outside grounds are gorgeous! I wish we would have had more time to enjoy them. The kids loved the walking trail that runs along the river. The inside of the house was clean, spacious, and well stocked with amenities. We did have an accident while we were there because some of our students were acting a fool and broke the bed. I was pretty nervous about telling Samantha, but I took pics and tried to apologize profusely. She was gracious enough not to charge us more than our damages deposit and even invited us back! Samantha is a responsive, gracious host, and I will definitely stay again!

Wonderful Home

This home was exactly how it’s described in the listing! Very well stocked, clean, and the perfect home for multiple families! We stayed with in-laws for a long weekend. The bikes were an added bonus, as the kids loved “racing” the barges we saw going down the river! All of the restaurant recommendations were great as well! We’ve already shared this home with several friends looking to make the trip!

We really loved the house…big, open, and clean. Not a good season to enjoy the river but we could only imagine how nice it must be. 2nd floor entrance was a surprise to us as we are getting old!

For me, the listing looked larger and more open layout than it did. However it had a large dining table that sat our 9 guests. My only issue was the stairs, leading inside the house. That was challenging for older guests. The sleeping arrangements were very comfortable. We enjoyed our stay very much!

Family friendly and comfortable place to relax

We celebrated my mom’s 85th birthday we decided to have a girls weekend there were 13 of us and we had plenty of room to celebrate and we enjoyed the fire pit outside at night. We were able to make a nice surf and turf dinner for my mom‘s birthday. We enjoyed walking on the path to the park. Next door along the river beautiful surroundings definitely would stay there again.

out-of-towners gathering to celebrate milestone birthday of a close friend

A bunch of friends flew into town to attend the 60th birthday celebrations of a dear friend in Cincinnati. This rental was our base for the weekend. We gathered here at night to wrap up the days festivities. The surroundings were serene, location couldn’t have been better - we didn’t have to worry about bothering next door neighbors with our out of tune but enthusiastic singing sessions at night. The large patio was our outdoor gathering spot with beautiful views of the river. One challenge we faced was getting Uber rides - which we knew going in. We were able to get rides but had to wait longer than usual. The house itself was clean and right sized for our group of 10. Could have easily accommodated a few more. Beds were comfortable and the common area fairly good sized as well. Overall everyone in the group was happy we chose this rental over other options.

Quiet Place on the River

We had a group of 12 guys in Rollin on the River for a weekend getaway. It was perfect with plenty of space. The views of the river were great. Space was clean and supplied with everything you need. All around great experience!

Something for Everyone

The property was clean, well appointed, and private. The hosts were quick to respond to questions and issues. The large dining table allowed our entire family to enjoy meals together; and a variety of indoor and outdoor spaces provided opportunities for visiting and games. The location has a panoramic view of the river, is just steps from a paved park trail into town and is an easy drive to attractions in three states.

In the winter you can find me snowboarding, during the summer and spring I love to kayak and boat, and in the fall I absolutely love to hike and enjoy the beautiful views of the leaves changing colors. Our family enjoys to travel to new places and we love staying in rental properties!!

The 19th century buildings are known for their beauty, creativity, and details. We are a short walk from the Historic District. The Dearborn Trail begins at the end of our driveway.
