The Riverview Home provided us the luxury of plenty of space and was comfortable and inviting. We were in the area to visit with family and this was an ideal location for us. The decks were the “go to spots”in the evening. Morning coffee was enjoyed on the big front deck watching river activity and some beautiful sunrises. This trip was very relaxing!

Plenty of space for everyone in our family having 4 bedrooms and 3.5 bathrooms was a big plus! Clean and had a well equipped kitchen. Enjoyed watching the river activity but busy road noise at times.

Great location with incredible views! The deck could use some upkeep as it is getting some wear, but overall the property is wonderful. It was perfect for our three generation family mini vacation!

Great stay!

This was our first VRBO experience. The chair lift on the stairs was great for my mom. We really enjoyed the front balcony in the mornings and the evenings. The view of the river was excellent! I loved the proximity to the park and went over every morning of our stay to walk and run. The suggestions in the book provided were wonderful! We would stay here again!

Fantastic Views and Great Space for Family Gatherings

This house was perfect for my husband and me plus our two daughters and their families. Enough bedrooms for all and plenty of bathrooms for use, particularly when you have little kids. The kitchen was well- equipped and the outside areas (multiple decks) were great. Not to mention the view of the Ohio River and the hot tub. We would gladly rent this space again if we travel north another time!

Great place to stay

Enjoyed our stay. No problems. Appreciate the treats and extra supplies of soaps, shampoo and lotions in bathrooms, dish soap, dish washing liquid, kitchen supplies and seasonings. Coffee maker was bonus and well used! Samantha was very easy to communicate with. Thank you so much for hosting us! Will definitely be back!

What a view!

The view from the front deck is amazing! Watch the river go by! 4 bedrooms and everyone said the beds were comfortable. The house is bright with lots of sunlight coming in. The house shows it's age a bit and could use some new carpeting. We chose this property for the 4 bedrooms. Unfortunately, there wasn't enough seating in the living room for everyone unless you used the uncomfortable, "dining room" like chairs. Overall, the property will work for large families and gatherings for those with average expectations.

Family adventure to the ARK & Creation Museum

The little town of Aurora is a hidden gem. The downtown area is only 5 minutes away and has several restaurants to choose from. Walmart & Kroger are also only a short drive away for anything you might need. This home is located across from a playground and walking/biking trail perfect for our group! We didn't use the bikes available only because we had a quick trip, but what a blessing they are on site for those that can take advantage of them. The items for the younger travelers made things so nice - the pack n play, highchair, plastic plates, bowls, cups, forks and spoons - thank you!

Everything was functional and clean and user friendly. It was so pleasant to stay in a home where we could feel like we were home yet be on vacation. I wished we’d had more time to use the bikes and the close bike path to explore the neighborhood. There’s much to see and do within walking distance. Enjoyed watching all the activity on the Ohio River from the front deck. We truly appreciated our stay.

Beautiful house

The house is beautiful and the view of the river outside our door was fantastic. I loved getting up and watching the sun rise over the river every morning! The stair lift was important for my brother to come to visit as he can't climb stairs well.

We stayed here a few months ago, in town for work. It was great then and great again!! We have 1 more trip there for work in a month or so. Hopefully the house will be available for the days that we are going to be in town.

In the winter you can find me snowboarding, during the summer and spring I love to kayak and boat, and in the fall I absolutely love to hike and enjoy the beautiful views of the leaves changing colors. Our family enjoys to travel to new places and we love staying in rental properties!!

The Riverview Retreat has a large spacious front and back deck that makes entertaining for any occasion great. The views from the home are stunning year round, enjoy a cup of coffee and watch the bargea float up and down the river. The home also has a chairlift from the lower-level to the main-level that is great for grandparents or anyone who may have a difficult time walking up stairs. We offer many extra amenities including a hot tub, bikes, games, and a fully stocked kitchen.
