Great location with cons
Overall the location is great..close to the beach and mini mart. The cons....when we entered the condo, i immediately wasnt impressed...the pictures online looked newer....the place needs a fresh coat of paint and update of furniture and a deep cleaning. The stove needs to be replaced...a major safety issue...it works by turning on a propane tank in a cupboard. The blender needs to be tossed. The BBQ needs to be replaced...its old and the lid doesnt stay open properly. In Costa Rica be aware there are bugs inside (ants). Also, you have to put your toilet paper in a garbage can when you use the toilet. The TV has limited channels mostly in Spanish. The chairs were wobbly and legs were loose....maintenance did try to fix them. Early in the morning and in the evening you will hear dogs barking,rooster calling and morning doves. Now for the pros...Raquel gave us a good orientation to the place and was available to answer any questions. The maintenance look after the grounds well. The condo was a nice size and laid out well. Thank God for the A/C. ITS a bonus to have the washer and dryer. The condo is located next to a cool outdoor bar with entertainment called Loko Roko ( Tuesday to Sat.) All in all we did enjoy the condo but it definetely needs some TLC
