Condo was exactly as described and pictured. It has everything you need for a comfortable stay. I do recommend renting a car (we did) unless you are fond of walking or biking. The roads around the condo are all decent and there was no active construction noise like many other condos in Tulum. We felt safe the whole time and had a great trip.
Our unit was nice and great size for our needs the complex had great BBQ cooking area nice pools and well maintained grounds that was the good side of the complex but the bad side is that the way it was built everything echoes so you canât sleep with windows opened otherwise you hear all the people talking who like to stay up late and party. The complex was full of young adults who loved to lay around the pool with their music boxes playing techno music which echoed through the complex, the units in the neighborhood also was full of young adults blaring techno music all night and day. We had talked to a few people who were over 50 and also complained about the loud music.Tulum is very expensive they raised the price to get to the public beach at Jaguar park four times from 60 pesos per person up to over 500 pesos per person in 3 weeks. Taxi fares were very expensive even if you bartered a 4 km ride to the hotel zone beach was 700 pesos, restaurants in Aldea Zama where way over priced 500 pesos for 3 tacos was ridiculous. Groceries were over priced. We went to Isla Mujeles and it was 1/5 of the cost to stay and eat than in Tulum.Tulum is full of rich young adults and young adults looking for that tech life. We only seen a handful of couples over 50 and the ones we talked with said they will never go back and was very disappointed with the cost and the noise. I recommend do your research before going to Tulum.
We live in Colorado, and have been visiting the Riviera Maya for over 20 years. A few years ago, we decided to buy this condo, to have a place to stay for longer periods when we can. We enjoy it a lot, and hope you do as well!
