This is a beautiful house in Truman Annex, the best location in Key West! We rented it for a month and we’ll go back for sure. The house has a nice open layout, a very well equipped kitchen, a great screened porch, a perfect pool and the best terrace for an aperitif at sunset! I’m giving it 4 stars instead of 5 because the master bedroom has very limited closet space and the bedroom and bathroom on the 3rd floor are quite claustrophobic and just OK for a young person

Perfect Location with view of ocean and a heated pool

Great stay. Truman Annex centrally located. Easy walk to Fort Zach, Duval, Mallory Square, etc. Beautiful side streets, but gates close at 6- so only Whitehead (main) entrance open after that. Great space planning at Villa! Big room- cozy 3rd floor:)

What a great location with great views west across the park from one of the 3 decks....we watched the sun set every night from the third floor deck-amazing views. Great access to Duval and nearby restaurants without being in the middle of the craziness. Quiet walkable neighborhood with driveway room for one car...even though our Van/RV did not fit the owner found us a spot nearby. Great place!!

This is one of the best places to watch the sunset on the island. They are a little strict on parking, but the homeowner was extremely helpful with other options. This was our 1st time staying in the Truman Annex, and it did not disappoint. Till next time Key West...

Beautiful, Family Friendly Place!

What a beautiful house! Everything was neat as a pin and the backyard pool was a hit with the grandkids.The top floor bedroom was perfect for the new parents and baby. The kitchen is well appointed with everything you would need - including spices. The location is within walking distance of most attractions. We walked to Fort Zachery State Park and many other spots. Ron was a gem to work with. This is on our list to return to.

I hope to return in 2 years to sharet the wonderful house with my family again. I will never forget our times around the pool, eating on the screened porch, or the incredible views from the upper 2 porches. A broken stove and a covid amuck could not shake the joy of this house.

Highlights: Close walkable proximity to downtown and parks. Heated Pool and screened lanai area are very nice. Second and Third floor verandas best for watching sunsets. Suitably outfitted kitchen. The Beds are comfortable. Owner is directly very responsive and accommodating. Challenges/quirks: Parking lot behind property can be a bit noisy and busy evenings & weekends. Gated driveway a bit narrow if you have a wide vehicle.

Last and only previous time we went to Key West we stayed in a hotel
. What a huge difference a stay in a Home is. Especially a high end home in the Truman Annex with over the top views and a private pool to boot.. Owner very hands on in a good way, called me to make sure all was ok at the start, then called night before we were to leave to let us know we could sleep in if we like as the cleaners would not be there till the next afternoon. I have stayed in many VRBO but this was a first. I have nothing but praise for this gem of a home.

While we enjoyed our stay in Key West, not so much at this property. It all started when we didn’t get the check in info until a hour before taking possession, which caused much stress. The pictures of this property are misleading - third bedroom is in the attic and barely useable. The first floor, especially the porch, is in dire need of a deep cleaning. Our feet were black on our first day! The pool wasn’t cleaned until a week and a half into our stay. The gas grill had no propane and we had to supply that ourselves - this has never happened to us in all our years renting. The owner also needs to make some cabinets available for renters to store food. Overall all we were pretty disappointed in this property especially given the rate we paid!

Unbeatable view and great location

We rented this house for Christmas 2015 with our extended family (7 of us). A Christmas tree and decorations were provided by the owner and I can not say enough about how nice that was of them to do that for our two young boys. This house is HUGE and has lots of space. It's really nice to feel like you have your own space when you need a little decompress time. They provide plenty of towels, sheets, pillows, a full size, new washer/dryer set, and a really GREAT pool. The screened-in porch is wonderful for enjoying dinner or a relaxing breakfast. I think the best part is watching the cruise ships dock in the morning and enjoying a cocktail while watching the beautiful sunsets. Our family truly enjoyed this home. The only suggestions I would give the owner is to talk to their cleaning crew about cleaning the floors. They were really gross. Our socks and feet were always dirty. One other suggestions is leaving some sort of instructions on how to use the very complicated whole house audio system along with the multiple T.V. systems (cable and satellite). Luckily, my husband is tech-savey so he was able to get us going and enjoying our Jimmy Buffett music while hanging at the pool. Overall, this house is great. We will be back because you can't beat the location and the view of the ocean/sunset is extremely rare for Key West and well-worth the money spent. Until next time....

The property was very clean and well equipped. The kitchen and the main floor area looked recently updated. In addition, there’s a very nice patio area with a private inground pool. The second floor bedrooms each have their own private bathroom and share a balcony that you can see the ocean, as well. The home is in an excellent location, it’s a 5 minute walk to Duvall Street and a 12 minute walk to the nicest beach in Key West, Fort Zachary. The owner was very easy to reach and was very accommodating. The only thing that might be an issue is the 3rd bedroom is basically an attic room on the third floor. There’s a full bathroom, microwave and a small fridge, however the area is quite small. The bonus is the view from that balcony area was amazing. We saw the best sunsets ever! Can’t wait to go back!

Luxury in Paradise

Property was exactly as advertised. Bright, clean and centrally located. No car is needed as all the major Key West attractions are easily reached by foot, bicycle or Uber. The owner/property manager was very communicative and accessible. This was a spectacular place for our Key West stay.

Beautiful property. Problem is that it is a 2 bedroom home advertised as a 3 bedroom. The third “bedroom “ is an attic space that might work for kids but not for adults.
