Welcome to Ursa Minor, a newly built home on Sugar Mountain with beautiful views and amenities. The driveway leads you up to the main level with the kitchen and dining areas greeting you. Whip up dinner in the kitchen on the granite counters and island. A beautiful, copper hammered sink, both Keurig and standard coffee makers, and a well equipped kitchen will make this a breeze. The dining table seats up to 8 with room for 2 at the island nearby.

While seating in the living room, you may relax around the gas log fireplace while watching your favourite shows. The owner provides cable TV and HBO Max, so you are sure to find just the right show. If the quiet life is for you, come out to the covered deck and soak in the mountain views. in the evenings, you might even catch a glimpse of the namesake constellation in the sky! In the loft is a second TV area with foosball table.

Sleeping accommodations include two bedrooms on the main level with a shared full bath with tub/shower combination in the nearby hallway. Bedroom one has a king sized bed, ceiling fan, and TV. Both end tables have built in USB charging ports for your devices. The second bedroom has two sets of twin over twin bunks-- perfect for the children. Upstairs is the primary suite with king-sized bed. The room has a Peloton with dumbbells and yoga mat (BYO account). The attached bath features a beautiful tiled shower.

On the private back deck is a newly installed hot tub!

Please note that this property absolutely does not permit pets anywhere in or on the premises at any time including outdoor spaces. Bona fide service animals as prescribed by a medical professional may be permitted, and the presence of a service animal must be disclosed prior to check-in. Misrepresenting a pet as a service animal is a crime under North Carolina law. Guests who bring a pet to a no-pet home will be subject to a non-refundable $750 fee to reimburse the owner for wrongful use of their home as well as compensate for removing pet hair and dander and clean carpets and upholstery.
If any pets are discovered during your tenancy including via security camera or observation of neighbors or BRMR staff, your credit card on file will be charged for the above-mentioned fee.

Additional Notes:
- Guests with large groups may also rent 1st in Sugar, which is next door to Ursa Minor and allows pets.
- All BRMR homes offer well stocked kitchens with all utensils needed to cook meals. There is also a "starter set" of paper products at the house: a roll of toilet paper per bath, several garbage bags, a small vial of dishwashing liquid, a few tablets of dishwasher detergent, some laundry pods, a roll of paper towels, hand soap, shampoo, conditioner, body wash, and some makeup remover cloths. There are enough of these items for one night, or maybe two. We do not provide hair dryers. Towels and linens will be provided
- Check in is after 4pm and check out is by 10am
- Must electronically sign an additional Rental Agreement Terms and Conditions and any Neighborhood Rules sent by Host (property manager) or entry information cannot be sent.
- Must be at least 25 years old to reserve. This person is required to be the person signing the agreement and must be one of the persons staying in the property for the reserved dates.
- No smoking inside the home. No trace of smoking left outside the home.
- Do not leave food or trash outside as it could attract animals. All trash must be bagged and placed in the trash receptacle indicated in the Welcome Book inside the house or your digital guidebook.
- No parties or gatherings above the posted occupancy allowed at any time. Keep outside noise respectable.
- 4WD/AWD and/or chains recommended during winter (Nov-March) for all homes. Travelers visiting during the winter months where inclement weather may be possible should come prepared with an AWD or 4WD vehicle, and chains may also be required if it snows. No refunds, allowances, or date changes will be given to travelers who are not prepared with the proper vehicle, as outlined in the Rental Agreement. The driveway is paved, but a steep, uphill climb.
- Please note that the distances shown on VRBO's map feature are measured in a straight line rather than actual road travel distances and times. We cannot change their setting for this, and encourage all guests to independently verify distances to desired destinations.

CANCELLATION POLICY –
Bookings canceled 30+ days before arrival will receive a refund of the deposit.
Bookings canceled between 15-29 days before arrival will receive a refund of half of the deposit.
Bookings canceled within 14 days of arrival are not entitled to a refund unless the reservation dates are rebooked to another guest.
All bookings are subject to a $50 cancellation fee.
