You’ve hit the vacation jackpot - there’s no other home like this one down valley of Aspen, boasting a prime location without sacrificing a bit of seclusion, right on the Roaring Fork Valley floor. This modern home sits on 200 acres of private conservation subdivision, formerly an actual tree farm, with only five other lots - none of which you’ll see from the home. Extensive landscaping creates a protected sanctuary, yet you’re only one half-mile to grocery stores, restaurants, shops, and other amenities. It’s eight miles to Carbondale and around 20 miles to Glenwood or Aspen.

The home itself was designed to offer maximum luxury with a minimal footprint. Reclaimed barn wood floors, cedar ceilings, premium bathrooms, a sleek, full kitchen, and an open floor plan are just a few highlights. An entire wall of southern-facing windows lets in abundant natural light and makes the space live large.

Outside, you’ll find another 1,000 square feet of living space on the expansive deck with a cantilevered roof and comfortable seating. Spend nights at home dining alfresco under the stars or getting cozy in front of the woodstove while watching TV. At bedtime, two serene spaces promise a restful night’s sleep. With such a stunning space to call home and an unbeatable, private location, the only question left is how many extra days to book.

This home was amazing! But the property is even better. You have privacy along with convenience of trails and food and shopping. We spent a week exploring this area with a great space to come back to. Lots of evenings on the porch. 10 outta 10 would recommend.

The property was wonderful. We were a little embarrassed not to be able to operate the high end appliances and then it turned out the fan was actually broken and that was why. And the heat is just complicated. BUT the house is lovely, the space and light, perfect. My only other complaint is that it was farther from Aspen, where our event was, than I expected. We did love how remote it felt even though it was a couple of minutes from conveniences. Very comfortable. I would just add a yoga mat :-) The deck is perfect for that, and towels are just too slippery. We'd go back in a second!

Review of Property

The property was very clean, well stocked with supplies, had a comfortable king bed, and surrounded by a gorgeous landscape. The property was secluded, as advertised, yet easy to access and close to modern amenities and hikes in the area. The property manager was also easy to communicate with. We would definitely love to return to this property.

We loved the location of the private cabin with a great yard for our active dog. The cabin was clean and well stocked with extra towels and blankets. We had beautiful views of Mt Sopris in the morning and enjoyed the visiting turkey and deer.

Quiet spot close to everything

We really enjoyed the location and design of this house. It is very close to Willits and everything in the Valley but feels very private. The house was well-appointed and the deck and yard were much enjoyed.

Awesome house that is close to everything - Whole Foods, wine store, fly fishing, hiking and skiing. Very clean and comfy too. I would happily stay there again.

If you're looking for an off-grid experience without being off-grid this is the place. No one around you, wild life walking through you're backyard, and waking to piece and quiet. Then a 5-minute drive to a shopping center with a grocery store and multiple good restaurants. Perfect for family of 4 with a dog. We are trying to figure out a time to go back. If you go - Westbound & Down Basalt and El Korita Mexican (Less than a 5 min drive)

Unique and lovely property!

This was one of our favorite rentals. Very modern and unique. Immaculate. A very private setting even though it's 5 minutes from groceries, shopping and restaurants. We would definitely stay here again. We stayed during a heat wave and we were thrilled to see that there is air conditioning. Highly recommend.

Nice property. Private, very close to town. Home seemed to be designed for taller people, e.g. high counters in kitchen and bath, high bath tub sides and shower head. Very hard mattress in master bedroom. Smell in refrigerator. Bathroom sink and bathtub slow to drain.

The perfect sanctuary

We stayed at this home for a week in August for a quick getaway and escape from the summer heat. It’s a beautiful property, surrounded by a gorgeous landscape. The floor to ceiling windows in the home offer panoramic views of the outside. The beds and furnishings are extremely comfortable and the bathroom and kitchen finishes are very high end. We enjoyed the large deck with a small table and sofa sectional—great for dining, reading a book and yoga! It was very peaceful and private—a perfect respite from the real world, but just a short walk or drive to grocery stores, restaurants, bars and shops. City Market and Whole Foods are just a short drive away, as is Starbucks. The home has several hiking trails right off the driveway and side of the yard—the trails are beautifully maintained and the landscape is breathtaking. My husband and l brought our dog there and we all loved it! It’s the perfect place to unwind and relax. It could also be an amazing space for writing, reading or working on any computer projects. The location is a short drive to Aspen, Carbondale and Glennwood Springs. If you’re bringing your dog, there’s a huge yard for play with this property. In addition, there’s an off-leash area at Linear Park near Whole Foods and plenty of dog-friendly restaurants, weather permitting. There’s also an awesome pet store nearby if you need anything. Our dog was in heaven! This place was simply magical and we plan on returning soon!
