Beautifully decorated cottage in Trillium Golf & Lake club community.

Enjoy Mountain Resort living - Trillium Club guest membership available with rentals. Your family will make great memories while staying in this luxuriously appointed cottage. Uniquely, this home is mostly all one level providing easy access and spread out living and sleeping spaces. There are 4 separate sitting areas to gather - but your favorite will be the rear screened porch. The main living great room has high ceilings and lots of windows for natural light. The gas fireplace provides ambience year round. Each large screen TV has Roku TV for streaming your favorite content. Plus, there is high speed (300 mbps) fiber optic cable. For those summer storms that knock the power out - our house has a generator so you will never be without hot water, heat & air, or more importantly wi-fi (unless Balsam West has an outage too.).

The rear screened porch has a sitting area around a 65" TV, a wood burning fireplace and a dining table for 8. You will find this the perfect spot to enjoy the cool mountain evenings.

There is a downstairs TV room with a 65” TV, a dry bar with two beverage refrigerators and a full bathroom. Off this room there is a small private covered deck with a sleeping swing. It's heaven!

The primary bedroom (The Yonah Suite) is separate from the main living area. There is a large closet, an ensuite bathroom with a walk-in shower and a cast iron soaking tub. Our hot water is from a gas tankless hot water heater so you will not run out! There is also a loft in the primary bedroom that has a TV and is configured as an office. This bedroom has a Serta I-comfort adjustable split king bed. There is a second "primary" bedroom (The Eloheh Suite) with a queen bed, generous closet space and a private full bathroom with a tub/shower combo. The two guest bedrooms (Toccoa and Carolina) share a full bathroom with a walk in shower. Both rooms have generous sized closets. The recently renovated kitchen has all stainless appliances to include a gas range, large Refrigerator, plus small appliances like a blender, crockpot and a toaster/air fryer oven. The cookware is high quality, and the kitchen is fully equipped. There is a Wolf gas grill on the rear deck. A full size washer and dryer are in the hall way utility room.

The window surrounded dining area seats 8 and leads onto the rear porch.

Another unique feature of this cottage is that it sits on two lots offering privacy AND parking for 4 cars.

The house is so great you may not want to leave, but guest can enjoy an optional Guest Membership to Trillium Club. There is an additional fee for Guest Membership during your stay: The guest membership fee is $200 for a minimum of 3 days; $350/week and $875 for a month. The Club & facilities are open May 1 - October 31. Apple Orchard Gym & indoor tennis facility can be available to winter guests for $10/day with a minimum of 3 days. Trillum is a private residential lake and golf community designed around the areas' natural beauty. The club offers a challenging mountain golf course, indoor and outdoor tennis, an exercise facility, pickleball courts, a croquet court, and is the only club on Lake Glenville. Club owned boats, kayaks and paddleboards are available for rent to guest members. There are two dining facilities available - one offering Club dining and the second at the Lake Landing. Additionally guest members can join in fun club activities like Bingo, Trivia night & wine tastings. There are weekly tennis & pickleball clinics and round robins. The owners are Trillium level members and this level of membership conveys to guests for preferred tennis & golf tee time reservations.

Note: this home has a monitored security system. While unarmed for entry points during guest stays, it does continuously monitor for smoke and CO2 detection. There are security cameras on the exterior of the home that are not enabled during guest stays

Trillium Wedding Weekend

This home was just like being home. So comfortable and accommodating for our stay. The home is beautiful and so nicely decorated. Although I must say the little bear cub in the twin room made me look twice after all of the warnings about bears. LOL. All the bedrooms being on the main level was what sold us on this place for our family. Definitely 5 star rating. We loved it!

Perfect in every way!

What a great home! The house was spotless and well appointed. Loved that the master suite was completely separate from the other bedrooms and areas. The space worked well for our group of 6. We will definitely look at booking this home again for future visits!

Wonderful Stay

We brought our family of 5 up to Cashiers to see the fall foliage and allowed each of our teens to bring a friend. This home was beautifully decorated, very comfortable, and was well stocked with everything we needed and more. The communication with the host was the best I’ve experienced with any rental. We loved the community, too, as our kids were able to pickleball and have space to throw the football around. We loved sitting by the fire inside and out on the enclosed back porch. Will be back!

Lovely house for a mountain stay

This is a lovely home and a perfect place for friends and family to gather. There are lots of seating areas but our favorite was the screened porch where we spent many hours relaxing and eating. The location is good - close to Cashiers for shopping and close to the lake for boating. Jennifer was very helpful when we had a power and internet issue and had it taken care of quickly. We were there just before hurricane Helene and had beautiful weather . Praying for the people in western North Carolina and hoping to return soon.

Fantastic Mtn Retreat!

We’ve stayed in the Highlands/Cashiers area for decades
this place and host is just truly fantastic. The mtn home is fully stoked with everything you could need for a very comfortable stay. From great family board games, to three distinct sitting areas/two with a great gas fireplace, great kitchen and appliances, super comfortable beds, wonderful outdoor living spaces with wood burning fireplace and smart tv’s
 you just will not be disappointed. We love the location of this home and community to some of the areas best hikes and outdoor excursions. We had two separate questions for our host which were handled quickly and so warmly. We made some great memories as a family here and plan to return. You’ll love it.

Hospitality and Charm!!!

Unlike most other houses 
Everything you could need throughout the House! Even had lights for Christmas
Whole house, warm and spotless everywhere! Peaceful and Our 12 year old granddaughter was able to complete a 500 piece puzzle she brought with her within 24 hours 😊The amazing unique style of the house is something you’ll have to find out for your own

Fantastic House

This house was perfect for my family! We loved bing near Trillium (boys enjoyed the golf and we all enjoyed pickleball). The location is perfect between Cashiers and Highlands. The house is so comfortable and the back porch is perfect for hanging out after a long day. Communication with the owner was quick and easy. Kitchen was stocked with all we needed for cooking in. I highly recommend this house! Hope to come back again soon.

We fell in love with Cashiers several years ago. We are delighted to have this house to share with friends & family and new VRBO friends.

Pourquoi avoir choisi cet hébergement ?

This house provides all the space we need for everyone to get away and relax along with several places to gather. Trillium Club is unparalleled on the Highlands/Cashiers plateau for amenities - especially being the only club directly on Lake Glenville. Cashiers offers so many great shopping and dining experiences. It's nice to have Trillium dining options for the busy summer season.

A spacious yard and ample parking - difficult to find in mountain communities. Screened porch is just outstanding for enjoying cool mountain breezes.
