Close to the Cut, South Beach & Evergreen Marina (you've got to try their frozen Crown & Coke!) by water and some of the areas best restaurants & bars by land (the all you can eat catfish at Duchess Creek Marina is incredible!) - Water & Woods is in the absolute PERFECT spot for your next lake getaway!

We’ve got all the makings of a perfect lake vacation! You may never wanna leave!

You will have access to the entire house & property.

We are on just under an acre of fully fenced space with a trail directly to the lake out the back gate.

You will also have access to the neighborhood boat ramp and beach area- just down the street from the house.

Duchess Creek Marina, Grocery Shopping, Excellent Restaurants & the best bar in the area are all a short walk or drive away!

Please note - we do not have a dishwasher - but there is a drying rack if you want to put part of your crew to work! If not, we recommend brining/buying disposable dishware for your stay.

Our stay was so fun! The house is set up perfectly to house ten people comfortably. Our children throughly enjoyed the bunk area/hangout. Us adults loved having some space on the other side of the house with our own bathroom. House is stocked well with towels/kitchen items. The outdoor area allowed for great bonfires and grilling. It’s a really chill place to be. Great hosts too, they were easy to communicate with! Thank you!

Perfect Eufaula Getaway

The house is set up so well for a group stay. Plenty of space and so many amenities. The area is a great place. We had so much fun sitting on the porch eating breakfast and waving at everyone that drove by. We even enjoyed the backyard, grilling for dinner and using the space to relax. It is so close to the water and the beach area with the boat ramp is walking distance. It is a great getaway!!

Perfect long weekend getaway

We loved our stay. We appreciated how well stocked the place was. We spent a lot of time enjoying the backyard and the fire pit. The wood provided and s’mores kit was greatly appreciated. We were able to cook every meal. There’s not a dishwasher so that was challenging at times. The game room was great for the kids and we liked being able to close the barn door. We would definitely stay again.

Fabulous!

We spent Thanksgiving here with our children (two in the Air Force). It was the perfect place to be able to spend time with the kids. We enjoyed the fire pit outside and everyone was glad to have their own space inside. It was so peaceful. Not many places were open around the holiday, but we made do. We spent one afternoon hiking at Robber’s Cave. All in all, it was a memorable vacation at a wonderful property.

Peaceful Getaway

We were looking for a quiet, peaceful getaway and this house delivered. The kids had so much fun in the back yard and adventuring to the lake. The walk to the sunset was totally worth it. The home is SO cute and the hosts thought of many details. They were also easy to communicate with. There were a couple of things missing, but a trip to the nearby store helped us get what we needed. I’d consider staying here again.

Spring break family vaca

The house was extremely nice. The barbecue pit was a little iffy however we were told about that before we got there. The beds were just a little bit, not quite right for the older people in our party but the others in our party they were fine The big backyard was absolutely awesome. I especially like the fact that it was completely fenced and I could lock the gate so I didn’t have to worry about my six year old and two year old accidentally getting out of the fence. We would have loved to use the fire pit but the wind was so high there we did not dare, but everything about the outside was so relaxing. The kids made good use of all of the board games and card games that they had in the house. My sister even read a couple of the books all in all it was a wonderful place to stay

Pourquoi avoir choisi cet hébergement ?

This home is truly our happy place. There's just something about being at the lake and surrounded by the nature of water and woods that calms the mind and eases the soul.

We love spending days on the water and nights by the fire with the ones we love. WE have been coming to Lake Eufaula since we were teenagers and can't imagine a more idyllic place to call our home away from home!

Quels sont les atouts de cet hébergement ?

Water and Woods really is an amazing retreat! We love the park-like setting of being surrounded by trees and the short trail to our own private part of Lake Eufaula.

The fire pit and horseshoe pits are a favorite and the bunk room makes for an excellent hang out room for the kids!

With the neighborhood boat ramp & beach area being just a few houses down the street, this is the perfect spot!
