This beautiful log cabin, with gorgeous pine flooring is the star of the area with modern upgrades. Relax outside on the porch, in the jacuzzi, or around the fire pit with a glass of complementary wine. Pike's Peak has a fully stocked kitchen to prepare full meals for the family. This beautifully cabin is located in a picturesque setting, perfect for enjoying a quiet evening on the front porch, or grilling on the charcoal grill. Relax with the whole family at this peaceful place to stay.

Nestled in the Appalachian Mountain Range. Rustic Star sits in a quiet area between Pine Mountain and Warm Springs. An hour and a half from Downtown Atlanta, 45 mins from Columbus, Ga (home of Ft. Moore) and Auburn, AL.

Peaceful Pines

It was a very peaceful place to stay and visit with our son for a few days. Waking with the birds in the morning and enjoying a dip in the hot tub in the evening were refreshing. Would stay here again.

The Summit

We had a great stay at The Summit cabin. Everything was as per the photos, communication was easy and check in and out easy. It's in a nice area, very peaceful to sit on the back porch or in the hot tub and look at the trees. Great for a break to get away and recharge. Hosts are super helpful with recommendations of things to do/places to eat. Definitely stay again.

Awesome family get away

My sister and her family are moving far away, so we wanted a weekend get away before they leave. She had never visited the little White House. We enjoyed the location and the house was very cute, we didn’t have enough time to enjoy everything the house has to offer. It was perfect for all of us. Great memories were made.

GREAT STAY/COMMUNICATION

Justin and Christy were excellent hosts......it was the weekend of the blizzard of 2025 so he gave me a heads up on the hill that may have ice. This was much appreciated...switched from the car to the 4 WD immediately. It is pet friendly which is always a plus...we don't travel without them. Overall great little get away.**I would just add to your restaurant/entertainment listing. We got steaks from Cowboy Town about 5 miles up the road....they have live bands as well on weekends.

Great place

All around great place and perfect size for our family. Hot tub and fire pit for making s’mores was a hit for the kids. Not a far drive to callaway gardens and other attractions. We would stay here again.

Exceptional in every way

The cabin was well-appointed. The location provides easy access to Pine Mountain, Callaway Gardens, and Warm Springs. Communication with host couldn't have been better.

Exceptional Cabin!

The perfect spot to just get away! The cabin was absolutely perfect. It has everything you could need to stay in and cook, which we did the 1st night. The location is easy to find. Hosts are great at communication. The complimentary wine was a nice addition. We will definitely be back many more times!

Little piece of paradise

Everything was perfect. We had what we needed, Everything was clean, loved the hot tub. There are actually 3 beds, 2 upstairs and 1 downstairs. Just beautiful. one downstairs.

Cute little Cabin in the woods.

We enjoyed our stay at the Summit cabin. It was clean and very inviting. Host took those extra little steps to make you feel welcomed…personalized welcome sign, wine, a few drinks in the refrigerator. Cabin is quaint, big enough for our party of 5 adults and dogs. Kitchen met our needs with what they supplied. Communication was great, check in easy, location pretty central to our daily outings in Warm Springs, cotton picking fair in Gay, and Callaway Gardens. Had a great weekend.

Fabulous getaway

We thoroughly enjoyed our weekend stay at The Summit! Cabin is very well kept, nicely decorated, and the hosts even had some nice personal touches for us when we arrived. Highly recommend staying here!

Cute Quiet Cabin

We had a wonderful time, cabin was very clean and well equipped. Close to State Park and Callaway. Would definitely stay there again. Thank you to the hosts for allowing us to stay.

The place is peaceful and quiet. There was another property we preferred, but this one had the Jacuzzi, and that's why we booked "The Summit". When I opened the Jacuzzi, it was only halfway filled with water. There was sediment, dirt, and scum collected inside. Upkeep and cleanliness is so important for a Jacuzzi when you're promoting it as part of your property. I spoke to the owner politely about the condition and I was told their "pool guy" would come clean it. It was owners father who came and added water and skimmed it. When I went to use it, there was still dirty scum build-up on the side of the jacuzzi, and all over the floating chlorinator, and also floating on top of the water. I took a paper towel and the scum was coming up from the side, and off the chlorinator. It was quite disgusting. Booked the property for 3 days, but experienced another setback with the dryer. Property quickly lost all of the peaceful charm we booked it for, so we left a day early. The owner took no initiative to try reach out to us for our bad experience, and did not reply when I asked if they realized how dirty the jacuzzi was. I tried to be polite, and wait. I did not want to leave them a poor review, however, they showed no desire to make it right with us. This trip was for my 90 year old mother on "an adventure". The VRBO has cleaning fees built in, but when a featured amenity like Jacuzzi is not clean, it's not acceptable. It appears the owner does not care to take any accountability

Amazing stay!

Absolutely loved staying here. Such a comfortable stay and just like the pictures. We loved the hot tub and it was nice to dip in during the evening hours. We used the fire pit and roasted s’mores. Callaway is close and so we enjoyed that area as well. Definitely book this place! We are not far living in Columbus and we will be back. Such a beautiful cabin.
