Starlene and her guests broke into our Private Locked Hot Tub which they were not given a key, nor is the Hot Tub a listed Amenity. We were notified by our outside cameras and drove 4 hours one way to have a discussion regarding the disrespect of our property. Our outside cameras are for our guests safety and our protection. The use of outside cameras is clearly stated in our House Rules and inside our home. We relocked the Hot Tub but did not move anything when we were there having a discussion outside in the back yard with Starlene. We don't know anything about things being moved. After Starlene and her guests left, we returned to our home to find the walls dirty and scuffed, a guest robe missing, a white blanket missing, a Seahorse Statue broken, a night light broken, and the Hot Tub Cover lock will not stay locked due to prying it open. There were 2 Mothers, 1 Adult Female, 4 Teenage Girls, and 3 Middle Age Children in this group. I will not rent to these guests again.

Upon arriving at our home before check in, the guests tried to enter the door code so many times that our system went off line causing the batteries to need replacing. Our outside cameras are for guests safety and protection as well as ours. The use of outside cameras is listed on our House Rules that every guest has to sign and return to us. No camera shows the inside of our home, nor inside the Outside Shower and does not violate privacy. Our home is a non-smoking property and we have signs for such. We also have our House Rules, Golf Cart Rules and Departure Instructions, that each guests sign and return, posted on the refrigerator for easy access. We also have reminders for our guests about trash pick up, etc. We received permission for our cleaner to replace the batteries in the door lock for easier access for our guests. We were told they did not care if they were there or not. Upon entering the home to replace the batteries, our cleaner noticed party decorations had been taped to the walls everywhere and our art had been taken down. This was a bachelorette party which was not disclosed to us. We were told it was a vacation. Our House Rules state there are no Parties. The $20 Key Card is an optional amenity of Oceanside Village to use the Private Beach Access and you get $10 back when you return the key card. It was entirely up to our guests if they wanted to purchase this or not. It is disclosed in our Golf Cart Rules which they signed. Upon departure, our cleaner found puke in the bathrooms and in the kitchen sink which the guest denied. Tape and sticky residue was left on our walls from the decorations. We arrived at our home the same day, and the smell was disgusting, even after cleaning. We allowed these guests to stay even though they violated our House Rule of no parties. Our home is not your typical rental home. It is OUR HOME and we rent it a few times a year and we expect it to be treated with respect.
